No he didn't steal them. If a vegetarian took a pack of sausages and hid them would you find that odd?

If I remember rightly, Bea was late going to the tea party. If Marcus hadn't took them, then does anyone think they would have been left for her?

Mind you, I haven't seen what is being said about this, apart from knowing she was late going, but just picking up on what has been said.

Marcus said he would not give them to Lisa or David because he did not trust them to distribute the cigarettes fairly. Maybe he likes Bea more than he likes the other smokers? Regardless, it sounds like he was giving them to someone on his 'Team', and that does not look good on him.

Because bea didn't take Marcus's side in this one, Fred then questioned Marcus's motives... and guess what !! the subject turned to the fact Bea is a bad influence on freddie!!?? Marcus really has a neck! he is a far worse influence on Fred..when the conversation gets difficult, switch the target! Marcus very transparent

They have brought in their own to barter like Darnell did. Thats a different matter though.

What is'nt clear is how the cigarettes were discovered. When LF came on last night this had already happened.

They did tell us, Sophie found them when she was getting a cider she bartered some food for with Marcus apparently.

I think it was the fact that he had told Bea that they were going to be a gift to her. He later explained to Sophie that he was giving them to Bea because 'she always shares her fags'
Most of the hms, including Bea felt that it would have been fairer to share them around and did'nt like him treating them like children by hiding them for when supplies had run low!

Everything Marcus does is to do with control.

I have just been on the BB site and at the mad hatters tea party there were 4 packets of fags on the table one for each of the smokers. The packet Marcus took was Freddies. He took 2 packs off the table and gave one to Bea and put the other under his bed.

Guys i watched live feed last night

And i am not a marcus hater

But he was wrong what he did and said last night over cigs

Even bea knows that freddie as ever trying to stick up for mates struggled when bea pointed out exactly what happened.

Marcus said on live feed he took the cigs to give to bea only not to be given to any others bea even knew this was wrong,fred tried to say he wasnt smoking then but bea lisa and dave all told him he was wrong he was he had to back down,They all had a pack of fags but he was keeping extra ones for bea,he was raging he was caught out started harping on about issac stuff I have to say he was wrong

Whatever the reasons for Marcus taking the cigs, he was wrong, as he started to realise as the night went on, had Lisa done the same Marcus would have been first to decry her. Plus on the bartering Marcus takes more than he gives, but he is the first to call others greedy. The HL show showed be interesting to see how BB edit this

He also said that he left the last packet for 5 minutes to be claimed - as some sort of justifiable time period ( ) - after which he took them. He also made assumptions about the smokers in an attempt to justify taking the cigarettes.

It's not just the cigarettes. What is so annoying is that Marcus has been castigating others for taking food for weeks. David was treated like a criminal last week.

He also tried to claim that he was keeping them for when the smokers ran out of cigarettes (control, control!! ), which David pointed out was a load of tosh, as Marcus knew that the smokers didn't get their fags when the shopping came and were desperate for them then!

His intentions may have been...altruistic...but I can't help feeling that with Marcus, there's always a control element (and that that outweighs any other motive).
