Or when she nominated Halfwit after he gave up getting his name back so she could get rid of the specticles thingy.

Or, when she was repeating what Sirevash had told her in confidence to all and sundry.

In summary, no, I would not call Norien one of natures nurturers.

Well perhaps it was Angel who wasn't being the caring one and Noirin who was a consistent contributor to the house had her patience exhausted. Just because Angel was up for nomination does not excuse her from housekeeping tasks. It only took Angel a few minutes to make a contribution so she was hardly inconvenienced.

Just because Freddie did her one good deed does not mean one cannot make valid criticisms of him. If someone does you one good deed are you forever prevented from criticising them? It just goes to show how objective Noirin is her analysis of people and she does not embrace some sort of gang mentality, she looks at things on their objective merits.

She HAD to repeat what Siavash said, he made a fundamental accusation that people who she thought were her friends had been saying unpleasant things about her. She had to confront them, whatever Siavash may wish.

She was suspicious of his motives at the time that he might have been trying to alienate her from that group and as it turned out he had misinterpreted some hand signals by Karly and Kris which were supposed to be that of a t-rex referring to Marcus as a rabbit referring to Noirin. When Kris and Karly emphatically denied the charge she no doubt felt justified in bringing the issue into the open, and indeed she was.

What would you do if one friend told you another friend had been saying something about you? Would you just let the issue simmer when it all might be some confusion, or would you feel entitled to resolve the issue with all concerned?

You have no valid points.

And when has she made that sort of personal comment in the house?

I bet you made some personal comments as a teenager at school, and Noirin's comments were clearly sourced from her school experiences.

And she hasn't made any sorts of personal comments in the house, unlike Angel.

She clearly does not make those sorts of comments in her adult life as her behaviour in the house demonstrates!

So what is your problem?

I despair!

Yes I did say they were sourced from her school experiences, because she doesn't behave like that as an adult as we can see from her behaviour in the house.

Your complaint seems to be that she referenced some of her less appealing behaviour in school.

Were you so good in school you did not make personal comments?

As has been discussed earlier in the thread, the BB selectors look for people with under-developed characters and a confrontational attitude. In response to this Noirin seems to have tried to appeal to them by referencing some bad behaviour of hers at school.

You are not making any sense.

So says the person that whose argument revolves around claims that Noirin doesn't get on with Angel and Hira when the words of those very people contradict the baseless assertion, and can't tell a joke from anything else and can't see that Siavash's description of his girlfriend who isn't his girlfriend inevitably attracts banter. My arguement resolves around my opinion that Noirin is a manipulative madam who needs to make her mind up one way or the other. Does she want a relationship, does she not? Is she friends, is she not? Does she wants cuddles, does she not?

Does she want a r/ship in the house? Nope she doesn't and has said all along that she doesn't.

Is she friends or not? Yes, she's a friend.

Does she want cuddles or not? Yes, aslong as the ones she doesn't fancy (Sree/Marcus) don't get the wrong idea. Sadly they both wanted more, couldn't handle rejection and turned on her.

No, you are not prevented form critisizing them and I don't see where your "gang mentality" comment features at all. My issue is that she didn't care enough that he had made a sacrifice for her to cut him even the slightest bit of slack.

She didn't need to approach the situation the way she did and was not in the slightest bothered on how it would pan out for Sirvash, only that she got the answers she wanted. Again this doesnot indicate caring behaviour.

You have no valid points.

And really, there is absolutely no need to be so dismissive. It's rude and, dare I say, uncaring. Do you want a serious debate or just to hold court?

I have absolutely no idea what your point of disagreement is.

Are you saying she is behaving now in the manner consistent with her comments in the video? Or that I am wrong in claiming she was referencing her school girl behaviour? Or that if I am right that she was referencing her school girl behaviour she shouldn't have done so?

She was very diplomatic in the way she approached the situation, she very gently asked the bedroom contingent whether anybody had been referring to her as a rabbit. She avoided mentioning Siavash and he was the one to admit to his part in relaying the comments to Noirin.

How much more diplomatic could she have been, if you accept she had a right to find out what was going on? And she did have that right

Yes Noirin wasn't concerned that Angel should be excused making a contribution to the house because she was up for eviction. One can make some small case for saying that Angel should be excused household tasks, but as I say Angel's laziness had clearly exhausted Noirin's patience. It wasn't Noirin's finest hour but then telling people to do stuff never looks appealing and BB viewers seem to hate responsible people doing responsible things and perhaps Noirin had become fed up with tidying stuff for the nth time.

The gang mentality thing I was referring to is that one applies different critical criteria for the same behaviour dependent on whether someone is or is not in one's "gang" or social circle. Noirin takes the mature approach of being objective at all times. You seem to think she should not be entitled to nominate him because of one act of kindness on his part, that didn't cost him much at all. Anybody would have done it! If I recall correctly she nominated when he was trying to defend Angel's strange behaviour which included calling Noirin three months pregnant. Noirin naturally thought that this behaviour was not defensible and that Freddie was allowing his sexual desire for Angel to cloud his moral judgement, and so she nominated him, and I would argue with some justification.

I said alternate. You know, the word you pointed out was, in your mind, used erroneously. You do know what that means don't you?

I assumed that you would vacillate between the ‘real world’, where people see Ms Noirin for what she is and are able to express their opinions and have them received with courtesy and an 'alternative', where you sit worshipping Noirin, in blissful ignorance and bloated self-importance, oblivious to the opinion of others and their right to voice the same without your insolence.

I was wrong and I do apologise. As I said, I cut you ‘some slack’: I should have gone with alternative. Big Grin

Beautifully put Clapping a young girl looking for a summer of fun. She told the two odd balls she didn't fancy them countless times ..........and lets not pretend they're not odd balls (Sree has cut his wrists and Marcus has sulked and demonstrated odd behaviour recently) - they simply latched onto her because she smiled and gave them the time of day. The guy she quite fancies she has kissed and cuddled but ......told him she's not looking to get into a relationship.

WHAT HAS SHE DONE WRONG?

It's called interacting. In order to have fun it's good if you interact with other people. Used them HOW? It's all about how you interpret - IMO she really hasn't used them at all. I know you'll not see it my way - and I will never see it yours ...................but if being pleasant to someone is using then God help us. It really isn't her fault that they've fell in love and she can't reciprocate.

Eeker Eeker Eeker Eeker

I can't believe you've said that TBH. It's pretty obvious BB trawled far and wide to find two odd balls. they found them in Sree and Marcus .....how unfortunate Noirin was too naive not to see that they were quite clearly cuckoo.
