In past years haven't we had acquaintances/various people running to the papers with stories. Bullying is always a good one to get people coming out of the woodwork.
If she'd been that bad wouldn't we have had stories in the press. FGS ........she was making herself controversial simply to get on the show ..........nobodys VT is a true reflection.

As has been said before - isn't she doing well to keep it up so splendidly all these weeks. Nah... I don't buy it, she's a naturally nasty piece of work.
I'm sure she was at my school
VT was hacked to death, the edited off-cuts were not revealing the questions behind the answers. Again we don't know if she is saying these things to get into the house, as have previous BB HMs. At least she was open and honest about what role she intended to play in the house... and she hasn't dissappointed!
i haven't seen any evidence of bullying in the house - on the contrary.
When HM's were picking on Sree and nicked his swimming trunks she made them give them back because she saw he was humiliated. That's part of the reason he fell for her ..............and - the reason he couldn't get it through his thick skull that she didn't fancy him was because she tried to tell him nicely to save his feelings.
can't see how that equates to the bully that some believe she is. Actions speak louder than words IMO.

See, you can't have it both ways. Either she exagerating to get on the show, in which case she has kept up the charade perfectly for months and has been able to manipulate us all in to believing she is a nasty cow or she is open and honest and she truly is a nasty cow.

Then you must be listening to something else.
Noirin has demonstrated a complete lack of malice or unpleasantness in the house, in fact quite the reverse, she has been the one to be concerned about the feelings of others even people who have harassed her like Sree and Marcus. She is very generous in spirit and contributes to the group in many ways including cooking for it. These are not the actions of a bully.
Her comments about making someone cry was clearly some school yard spat. We cannot know whether she was defending herself or being the aggressor. She says she lives in a loving environment with friends and family. Anyone seeing the footage of her and Bea interacting can clearly see that affection is her interaction tool of choice and she is drawn into affectionate social situations.
All these factors indicate that she is the antithesis of a bully.

Well that's where we differ - I really dont see her as a nasty cow.
It's all down to how we interpret and perceive .........we operate differently simple - we can't all think the same.

Sorry let me edit that, in her vid Noirin says she is manipulative
Either she exagerating to get on the show, in which case she has kept up the charade perfectly for months and has been able to fool the majority of us in to believing she is manipulative or she is open and honest and she is truly manipulative.

Soozy, the anti's want to assassinate anything good about her words and actions. We are coming into the final week, as Marcus and Bea step up their campaign, so will the almost clone-like 'spin' merchants.

These are clearly all quotes from a school yard experience. I wonder what you would pick out from your school experiences if someone asked you to describe yourself at your worst and you had a big incentive to answer in the most outrageous manner possible?
Any unprejudiced, non-resentful, non-jealous person who has seen Noirin in her most natural environment in the house such as when she is interacting with Bea, Sophie or Siavash can see that she is caring, sharing, generously-spirited individual who enjoys giving and receiving affection.

No idea about "anyone on here", Jackson, I can only speak for myself and I find that very low. Especially when you're grinning while admitting it. It's bizarre.
That was definitely the worst bit, awful

then she is either a fake and lying on her VT or she is being manipulative, neither of which are admirable traits...

Huh?
Just read back this illogical drivel.
She has demonstrated consistently that she is caring, affectionate, generously spirited individual who contributes to the group and cares for the feelings of others, even objectionable twats like Sree.
She has never been unpleasant or malicious in the house. Compare that with Charlie, Marcus, Kris, Karly, David, Lisa even Rodrigo. Others have not had the opportunity to be unpleasant because they have been at the bottom of the pecking order, e.g. Freddie and Hira. Noirin has the option of being unpleasant because of her social skills and standing but she chooses to spread affection and goodwill when she can, even Bea doesn't quite match up to her.

I have said at least she is open and honest in what role she intended to play. The fact that she can do and say NICE things as most HMs can, is human isn't it? It is likely she has spent a fair few years being admired and adorned, so this would be the obvious 'character' to play in the BB house.

Well I think she did relate real experiences, but chose to pick the most unsympathetic ones from school. The stories were clearly from her school life. Didn't you behave badly to people at school sometimes?
Her behaviour in the house in which she has shown consistent consideration and goodwill to others is a much better indicator of her character than some artificial performance for the BB selectors who wanted to hear the worst of character traits.
What would you have said in your audition if you knew you could only succeed if you could demonstrated a mean streak?

She'd even give Iago a run for his money - God, she's lethal! If I were a boy I'd stay well clear of her!

I refer you to my previous comment apropos lying and/or manipulation..

It has been evidenced that not demonstrating a mean streak does not preclude you from inclusion in the house..

I don't believe my behaviour is in question here. Had I chosen to take part in a TV show then my behaviour, past and present, could be presented for public scrutiny.. as I haven't, it isn't.

So you persist for answers to hypothetical questions but wont answer one yourself?

If I were persistent I wouldn't have accepted your non-answer. However, there is a slight difference between Flossie's question and mine to you.. as you are unable to see it I will point it out. I asked about a scenario and your feelings regarding the same: Flossie is asking me to relate personal details on a public forum.

Flossie, I agree, VTs are there for impact and usually scrutinised and read as gospel by detractors of said HM.
If I was determined to get on the show, I too would exagerate my life and personality to appear 'appealing' to the BB producers.

Indeed, some hms have been picked for their ludicrous niceness as some sort of qwerky character trait e.g. Rachel, but on the whole the incentives in the selection process are to be confrontational, socially inept, attractive, underdeveloped, outraegous, naive or challenged in some way.
As I said before, a Daily Mail reporter wrote a long article about their application and they put in the most outrageous and primitive character responses in their answers, and nearly made it into the house. All the incentives in the selection process were to exaggerate one's worst character traits.
The BB selectors clearly also have some agenda for gathering gays, bis, ethnics etc and other freaks and so if you fit into those slots then one does not have to exaggerate one's character, but if you are normal and charming like Noirin you need to give the selectors a reason to select you and fortunately for her she was attractive enough to be selected, and Irish of course, which is another group the BB selectors always pick.

You lost me at 'Daily Mail'..
but theres nothing appealling about reducing someone to tears because of their appearence Felix its just sad.
sorry to disagree.

Exactly.
And from the questions, which we don't hear, any intelligent and socially aware person, like Noirin and the Daily Mail reporter, could see what the BB selectors were looking for.

Well the production team obviously disaggree. do you not see? They wanted a bitch/femme fatale character in there and set it up accordingly.

I used 'appealing' in more ways than the obvious real meaning. We are talking BB VT cutting room floor off cuts here!
You cannot take a spliced up, hacked to pieces snippet of comments, without having heard the questions and full answers to those questions as the truth to someones life and personality.
You'll be telling me you believe the Daily Star and the Sun next.

I do apologise, but your use of 'you' and 'your' does not suggest hypothetical response to me. Maybe if you had phrased the question differently.

Oh God, how naive you are!
Surely you must be aware that BB producers are looking for conflict and drama in the house?
If a bunch of intelligent well balanced and caring types were in the house BB would be blasted by viewers as boring.
Did you see the VT by Craig from BB6(7?) in which he said he liked to hate people and to be hated and to destroy other people? Any reality show with the intentions you suggest would have avoided him! I just wish they had.

It is very simple, she related some school experiences to stretch the truth about her current character for the purposes of succeeding in the selection process.
Provide an example where she has been either, and I would be prepared to accept examples where she has been seriously provoked.
