That sentence ^^^ that Noirin used in her under-the-duvet chat with Marcus sums her up completely. Before the row she was avoiding him like the plague, but now she reels him back in with the above words. She is playing a dangerous game with men. It is how she played Sree and is now doing the same with Marcus. She gives a bit to get a lot back, and she uses her words to give with one hand when she wants something, but quickly takes it back when the other person is no longer useful. She is a total user. It's a harsh summation of her character but I feel it is an accurate one.

frenchbread, she was telling him only the other day not to compliment her and to stay TFA. Today, she is reeling him back in and the stupid old sod is falling for it.

LL, why are men so bluddy stupid when it comes to women like this. She is using the same tactic with Marcus that she did with Sree. She got Marcus to protect her from Sree's 'stalking' and she is now asking Marcus to protect her from Siavash and Freddie. What she is really doing is trying to split up the Marcus/Siavash/Freddie combo. They have all got on reasonably well up to now but she doesn't want any male bonding going on without her permission. She is a spoiler and a disturber.

And all this venom is because Siavish refused to become her next victim and to fall under her alluring spell. In short, he didn't fancy her. It's the woman scorned syndrome.

I think if we knew that, we would be very rich indeed Big Grin I think since the beginning of time some men are taken in by a pretty woman and ruled by what is between their legs. Simple rules and all that don't travel from that area to their brain. Some women know this and play on it, they seek these sort of men out and play them. Although, Marcus isn't totally stupid as I think he is beginning to see this.

yes, I should emphasise that some men/some women thing or I might leave myself open for criticism. Thanks LL. I do hope you are right and that he realises he is being taken for a walk. Marcus is not daft but when it comes to Noirin he does tend to think with that other bit, unfortunately for him.

I think Siavash found her attractive initially but he has a girlfriend so he wasn't going to make any advances anyway.

Do you think the three of them would be threatened? I don't think so, they are individuals who don't really take notice of outside interferences and they seem clued up. don't worry.

I agree that she used Marcus like a guard dog to ward off Sree and then hoped a pat on the head would suffice. I did think he took the rejection well considering. Maybe she lied all along and really does like him but out of allegiance to the Lisa, felt it wouldn't be "cool" to become a double target. She knew he was out of favour with them which they attribute to his "bad" habits. She could have lied.

Siavash would have to be blind not to find Noirin attractive. She is absolutely gorgeous with a beautiful figure. But I think his brain was in gear from the get-go, whereas she reeled in the easier targets with her charms. Siavash knew her game and it put him on alert. The fact that he has a girlfriend was a fortunate 'stop sign' which made her back-off the minute he mentioned his girl. She would have though Wink and so would he under the right circumstances.

Marcus is being used, she does not fancy him in the slightest. He is a useful tool in her armoury. Let's face it, she has rattled up the Marcus/Siavash/Freddie friendship and she will continue to snipe on until the blokes fall out over Marcus protecting her. She is setting Marcus up to quarrel with Siavash. Read her words in the transcript above. They explain her MO.

and Noirin knows that...no EXPECTS most men to fall at her feet, why not?, its happened for most of her adult life,
what she cant understand is when a straight bloke ISNT interested in her and DOESNT agree with every word she says, she takes not being liked or "adored" VERY personaly,

Your take on this is spot on OHG. The male perspective is always useful in a situation like this. It's the one I think is probably the most accurate.

She tried very hard last night to influence Marcus against Siavash. Unfortunately for her, the great 'revellation' fell flat because Marcus and Siavash had already talked about it. The problem is, she also now said that she suffers his friends because she likes him, so he will feel obliged to give more time to her if he wants to get what he's after.
