Soz all, only Notts folk will understand this, nowt wrong with Hucknall 2 of my best mates live there twins as a matter of fact, soz I got engrossed watching the telly last night and could not be bothered to drag myself back to he PC. Last time I was in Hucknall was for a night out round my mates house, it's just a bit far that's all, but lucky you have the tram now, have you ever been to Sherwood?. If I go in town now I keep away from the towny parliament street pubs, too old for all that rubbish.

I said hi to Tina last night on here and noticed she was also from Notts, and she later said on a post "Are you not replying back to me just coz I'm from Hucknall?", to which I gave her a respopnse back this morning, Hucknall is like an ex mining town in Notts, used to have a bad rep years ago but is supposed to be OK now.
ah its much clearer now!
Oh right, thanks for explaining,.. It makes sense now.

Hi Tina, the last time I went for a drink in Hucknall I woke in the back of an ambulance with a split lip, it was after a drink near the market, near that supermarket I think it used to be Somerfields. Where in Sherwood have you been, I used to go to The Chestnut but for reasons I can't go into on here I can't go in again till after Xmas, but I venture to The Grosvenor quite a bit.
its the half moon your talking about nasty place
i cant remember the places iv been to in Sherwood but The Grosvenor rings a bell nice place
