Brits are famous around the world for talking/complaining about the weather, which is usually c.rap with cold, rain, wind etc.. On the rare event in the year sunshine and heat arrives for a limited amount of time and STILL people complain. I love the sun, warmth and blue skies, I want more of what I want and less of what people want from cold, rain and dark depressing skies

I just think everyone is in a far happier mood when the sun is shining. Personally I can't get enough of blue skies ......it's been a lovely weekend all round.
I also like to think everyone's happier and will have a more outdoor life to enjoy but apparently some prefer cold or depressing weather lol. Personally cold weather, rain and dark skies makes me feel miserable and imprisoned indoors, ugh

I did hear an odd theory once that people born in winter prefer it colder and people born in summer prefer it hotter.  Probably a load of nonsense but I have two grandsons one born in February who hates the heat and one born in August who can't get enough of it.  I was born in November and I'm not keen on heat either.  Feel free to take the mickey out of my crackpot theory (well not really mine, something I heard)

Growlybear I find that just amazing!  I feel hot just hearing the name Luxor.  Do you feel the cold much? This might sound a silly question, but just for the purposes of the crackpot theory thing, were you born into a cold climate?  I am not suggesting there was a heatwave here in December but you could have been born in a hot country where your parents were living at the time.
