I like football and I've come here to take a break from a particular football thread which may signal the end of us all. I feel sort of safe here.

cant stand football, or tennis so ive brought a bottle

now rugby and cricket.

i didn't mean to start ww3, i just don't like  that particular sport  because of the reason i stated.

when iwas 14 i saved up all my paper round money to buy a pair of kickers.

Jackson I am going to show that story to my kid, cos I'm sure he thinks I am lying about saving up for something.

Neither shoe or football related but I once got stabbed right through my foot.

all the cool kids had kickers, i think i had  shite shoes, so i bought the kickers , but i learnt a valuable lesson, they still didn't make me cool.

I was never lucky enough for kickers, I had a dodgy knee as a child and had to have supportive shoes, they weren't built up shoes but they had to support my ankles, didn't help that I looked like a boy in those days.

I really love shoes if that helps..
I have about 30 pairs... I do need more though. My latest ones are a Zara pair - grey with a little flower on the top.They were £10 in a charity shop,
Then there are my red Roland Cartier shoes .... gorgeous . Should have been £110 , I got them  in a H of F sale for £25

I have always loved daleks. I can't see why people are scared of them. It is soooo funny when they go off on  a rant and get all upset.. how can people be scared of that?
Now Cybermen.. brrrr. I think the Borg from the Star Trek series are a complete copy of them and they are a tad scary.

oh i used to be terrified of them when i was a child.    For some weird reason I thought that every time I pulled the toilet chain a dalek would emerge from behind my parents wardrobe in the bedroom next door...so i used to leg it downstairs as quick as I could.

I also had really scary nightmares about them as an adult

Now I love them,  I think the animation therapy has worked
