I was playing tennis and put the remote AND my fist through a light shade and smashed the bulb

Chucked the remote at the TV loadsa times too.

I love mine I have hit my o/h with the control a few times

i went a bit mental when we first had one-the day after xmas day, every bit of me was aching cos of the boxing matches, the bowling the golf..

Same thing happened with me. We bought our son one when they first came out and it was good for about a week so we sold it and out the money towards an XBox360. Now I really want a Wii again specially Wii fit The games at the beginning were crap but they seem to be coming out with some good ones now.

we love ours!! me and hubby play and we all play family games too, bowling, tennis, mario party! badmington..etc!

I got a real surprise when I used the Wii Fit first time and it retty much said I was a blimp. I've taken a stone off since then and I also now, in the absence of any evidence to the contrary, hold the world record distance on the Free Jogging.

we have one 360, one ps3 and now 3 wiis because they get played by far the most wii fit is good and the balence board that comes with it can be used with a number of other games too.

the new motionplus controller add on launches soon as well and takes gaming to a whole new level with its 100% motion control giving a 1 to 1 movement, games like tiger woods 2010 look amazing to play because of this as does both ea and segas new tennis games.

there is also a personal fitness trainer program which is pretty good too.

dont forget that the wii's storage has now been updated (via firmware) to allow upto 32gb of storage on each memory card too.
