Saw some repeats not long ago.  Was surprised how well written and performed Are You Being Served was, especially compared to the dross that passes for BBC Comedy now.

The group of actors from Are you being served, of which Nicholas Smith was one, seemed to be the new wave of curious yet capable actors in the mould of Carry On
