Is anything nice happening to you in the near future? are you doing anything nice?
Me? I'm having my hair cut......just a small thing, but nice

You do know it's February, right Unless you're jetting off somewhere

Mixing it on here in humour with faceless strangers is nice. The internet can be a great leveller as it is here.
You don't mean to say you have locks down to your bot do you!

Aunts 88th birthday party tomorrow, I'm hoping she breaks some moves
Three Saturday games in a row; Everton, Oxford and Crystal Palace and we may win the middle one. My son's Birthday on Wednesday and we seem to have everything in place for my Mum's 92nd in a couple of weeks.
I have applied for Attendance Allowance for my Dad
Then Carers Allowance for me
All told I should get ÂĢ1,100 + p/m tax free for caring for my Mum and Dad.
Add no travel expenses and no tax and i'm actually much better off financially staying at home and not working
Nice
Call me an old romantic but I love (kinda mesmerised) by moonlight - especially if it's bouncing off the rooftops.
I've actually sought out roads and the position of the moon on a cloudless night and got out of the car just to stare at the staggering view of a hill lit up by moonlight.
Where's this heading - well i'm considering a Mobility car.
And as it will never be mine and I won't have to shed out for poor reliability ... i'm thinking about C4 Picasso for no other reason (except its a people carrier) than it has a massive windscreen that rolls over the top of the front passengers giving a full view of the sky - not that i'm admitting that to my parents

And she went out in style

I thoroughly enjoyed that. Thanks for posting it, Sainty.
My Dad was awarded the Highest level of Attendance Allowance AND it was back dated to Jan '17 so I got an extra ÂĢ741
AND I found a parcel under my bed I thought i'd returned and got lost in the post.
Checked the returns policy which allows 365days returns which is also FREE
Another ÂĢ65 to me
I'm up ÂĢ806
*looks around Basil Faulty-ish*

I've never had an interest in gardening til my Mum became ill
Now ... I love it. I can easily spend 5-6hours in the garden, mowing edging, hoeing, pruning and repotting.
We have 5 rose plants and had to resort to spraying this year as they've been destroyed every year. Now they're glorious.

I bet your mum appreciates your efforts in the garden.
I love pottering about in the garden, watching the things I've planted grow and bloom.
I'm not lucky with roses - blackspot is rife in my area and destroys the foliage.

Sounds like you have a real aptitude
I just potter like anyone else - lol
But I can be ruthless - if it aint growing - or looks out of place, out comes the pitch fork and it's gone!!
There's a dowdy spiraea ready for the bin and a nice Jasmine being moved into it's place
Yogi19 posted:Baz posted:Nice pieris EFFT We had one for years , but it keeled over ...we are going to replace it soon
I've got one in the front garden but it's smaller than Fluffy's.
If you can find it in the '365' thread (a few pages back) it used to be a lot taller, until the gardeners chopped it in half!
