Bet the watch is still going though. ÂĢ4.99 for a year of telling the time seems a good deal to me- buy another one.

I wear the same one all the time Supes, a Rotary one my daughter bought me for a birthday 8 years ago.... I love it, and it's not lost a second since I got it. I think quality is worth going for if possible and plus they look much nicer

I feel naked without a watch. If I happem to go out without it on I am amazed at the amount of time I spend looking at my bare wrist. I find it surprising at how often I need to know what time it is. It's only when I'm not wearing it that I'm aware of how often I need to know the time.

Saying that .........................any old watch will do.

My old one busted 3 days ago and i found myself lifting my left sleeve to tell the time constantly during the day. So at a fiver- i have save myself from compulsive behaviour in an instant.

I think we have to face facts - whether we like it or not - peoples lives seem to be wrapped up in their phones! When they invent a phone that can hoover, clear 8up and do the ironing I may become a convert. Until then I can take em or leave em. Since my mobile went through the washer in November there has only been one time that I've actually really missed it! ................

Is there money to be made on them?

My last 2 mobiles were rendered useless with Vodaphone ( each with at least $8.00 on tariff) Got cut off and end of in there terms. Just coz i hadn't used them in a certain amount of time. Never read this in the terms and conditions. I read that if you don.t use use your phone for a time they give your number to someone else???  Where has my money gone?

You know, I have no recollection of what make mine is, (I'll look in a min!) but I do know that it's a mix of 'real' white and yellow gold and it looks nice, when I look at it, to tell the time! Oh and and I know I treated myself to it because I wanted a 'girlie/old fashioned watch'

See, I'd never do it for that reason, 'cos if I were to buy or inherit a thing of beauty, I would just keep it!
