I've now cancelled the cogs, cancelled the reply box where I was trying to edit and make a new post.

And now that I have submitted the new post the edits have appeared in my previous post.

As I have said in the inaccessible Support Forums, for me the place I get the unrequested reply box is 'The Bar' of 'The Sinking Ship'. Have not paid sufficient attention to be sure if it does or doesn't happen elsewhere.

same here   was bombed out completely last night - nothing would load properly - today everything back to normal - it has been  troublesome since last Friday - dont know if updates have anything to do with these problems

Well, I can answer ONE of these questions for sure:  the "inaccessible support forums" can be found simply by scrolling to the bottom of this page (or any page within Gaga or LiveCloud, I believe), and clicking the link that says "Get Help".  

Ozzy:  it sounds like something isn't loading on your pages.  I'll keep asking about this (although, unfortunately, it will be Monday).

I noticed that Xoch and ozzy are both running Firefox versions that are NEWER than mine.  That's interesting.  I'm kind of scared to update, in case I run into the same issue.   However, on Monday I will take a poll at the office to see if anyone else is using 4.04.

Have just visited the support forums on this new Q-Shark place. It's like a whole new place to explore and get used to.

I would like to add that a stopped using Firefox for that very reason, it slowed down every time  I updated the version. There has to be something in the code causing this.

And I am still getting an unrequested reply box in 'The Bar' every time I refresh or change the page and so far have not had this anywhere else.

Just to point out, dunno if it's my own numptiness, but I'm using Safari 4.0.4... that's not the same as Firefox 4.04, is it?  

But I'm not getting the unrequested reply box in the Bar any more, although I've just found out Fluffy has been having the same problem I had... and still is... *shrug*

I closed the tab I was using for the sinking ship and opened a new one. The unrequested reply box is no longer appearing, but I have no confidence that it will not reappear at some point as I have gone through all this before. I think it is linked to the refreshing and reloading, because when you open the browser and log in afresh it does not happen.

Xoch:  What's that you guys say? "I should have used Spec-Savers?"
I also have Safari on my computer, and I just checked:  I have the same version, but I've not got that same issue in the Bar.  The next time it happens to you, can you post here, and I'll go check to see if I'm having the same issue?

Yeah, I will do that, but because of the daylag, it may not be happening to you when you try. And like Fluffs says, it seems to be an intermittent problem... but I didn't think it was happening to anyone else at all until I mentioned my ickle niggle!

That's why it's worth it to post niggles, ickle or not.

Lori... I've just had the same problem as Marg trying to correct a post... I know she's on Safari like me!

Hmmm....I just logged in w/ my Safari browser, and had no trouble editing my post.  How weird.

So, does this happen ALWAYS or just sometimes?  I'm trying to figure out if it's the servlet you are on (which changes from login to login) or something else.

... and as I said in my deleted post... I don't edit or delete that often! My prose is always perfect!  

... and I've just edited a comment on my wall perfectly fine!

So, when it doesn't work, do you get an error message, or does it just keep...spinning or whatever?

Having problems still cant edit or delete the pages are taking ages to load and getting internal error a lot my patience is wearing thin .. sorry.

Hi could you help me please...... I use a Mac... and have very few problems...except a few tonight But I do have problems if I am trying to post on the move, from my iphone.  Everything loads ok... and reads Ok.... but if I try to post, the reply box comes up, but it won't allow me to write anything...... in fact at times the posting box stays grey......  Any ideas please. Thank you.

Hi Lori it is when I am trying to open a page it is taking ages it just keeps spinning then internal error comes up and I cant get into the forum, I have to close down and start up again it is happening to quite a few of us.
