How could you even think it?

AND it bit me right where I grazed my arm on my car wing mirror this morning. There is no end to their evilness.
Oh my - not a good day then
*snigger*
*runs in to have a quick peak* Hi all *runs out*
*tries to resist cursing Rexi with a plague of killer labybirds*
Well, if it helps you on the sniggerometer I am still sporting some epic mosquito bites from Spain last week
They are pure evil creatures - I had to medicate myself with G&T to get over the itchy pain

well that's why it did it then!!
It mistook your skinless flesh for something nice & meaty to eat!! At least it stopped once it realised its slight error in judgement!
OR.. perhaps it was trying to kiss your boo boo arm better!

Ok, I admit the ladybird bite wasn't as bad as that ^^^^
I reckon I probably need a vodka and orange to get over the shock that the little buggers actually bite though

It stopped when I whacked it one with my good arm.

That counts as one of your five-a-day ... go for it
I once saw a documentary on ladybirds .. it reckoned that sometimes they grab an armhair & fly off still holding onto it.. ripping it out at the root & causing a sting like pain!
Never known it happen to anyone though!

Ooo, no I've never heard of that Super. What's the purpose. Is it like a beer trap for slugs?

I think so Sprouty, I might give it a go 'cos there are sooooo many flies at the moment...the tennis racquet zapper sounds fun, but no good if it doesn't kill the buggas, (ooo that makes me sound cruel, but they really are driving me nuts) Wonder why red wine? Maybe any alcohol would do?

That works on fruit flies.. those tidgy little ones! (drosophilia - hahahaha I can't believe I know that!!! Throw back from A Level Human Biology - genetics module)
I know this cos they try & get in me wine when I am drinking it!
A crime punishable by death by clapping!

LOL! like I said on the other page, I get them from room to room closing all the doors as I go then I get the rolled up newspaper out Might be the 'tannins' in red wine. I dunno
OUCH GJ
Ah well, at least these bugas don't bite, just drive me round the bend!
Right, I've moved every damned thing in the house to vacuum under and behind, (convinced myself that there must be something lurking that the cat had brought in to account for the flies,) and nothing...where the hell are they all coming from

^^^^ There are loads of flies about up here, too.
I'm using one of those Fly/Wasp killer sprays - but they stink.

That's what I was using Yogi, but it stinks and gawwwd alone knows what's in it that I'm breathing in too...My fella says it's to do with the weather that they're coming indoors more. There've definitely been far fewer today, (pouring down, thunder and lightening most of the day.) I've just made a concoction of redwine vinegar and fairly liquid in a cup, covered it with cling film, gave it a good shake to get plenty of bubbles and made some holes in the clingfilm with a pencil ,(after reading said tip on Yahoo answers)
I'll let you know if it works!
Ooooo there are two already, having a recce
Have you tried showering, Supes?
*** runs ***
Sue her Supes.
She's getting away with murder on here

No flies on you, donks!
Or you
It's not working so far
One fly got as far as the cling film then settled on the pencil that I'd used to make the holes
The other came for my hands that still stunk of red wine vinegar, (despite several washes Bliz)
Gawd knows where they are now
Ooooo one of them's back circling around the cup..get in there ye buga, goooooo awwwwn
