well that's why it did it then!!

It mistook your skinless flesh for something nice & meaty to eat!!   At least it stopped once it realised its slight error in judgement!

OR.. perhaps it was trying to kiss your boo boo arm better!

Ok, I admit the ladybird bite wasn't as bad as that ^^^^

I reckon I probably need a vodka and orange to get over the shock that the little buggers actually bite though

I'm really going off ladybirds.

You'll love them when you (if you) make a start on that garden of yours

Ooo, no I've never heard of that Super. What's the purpose. Is it like a beer trap for slugs?

I think so Sprouty, I might give it a go 'cos there are sooooo many flies at the moment...the tennis racquet zapper sounds fun, but no good if it doesn't kill the buggas, (ooo that makes me sound cruel, but they really are driving me nuts) Wonder why red wine? Maybe any alcohol would do?

That works on fruit flies..    those tidgy little ones!   (drosophilia - hahahaha I can't believe I know that!!!    Throw back from A Level Human Biology - genetics module)

I know this cos they try & get in me wine when I am drinking it!

A crime punishable by death by clapping!

^^^^ There are loads of flies about up here, too.

I'm using one of those Fly/Wasp killer sprays - but they stink.

That's what I was using Yogi, but it stinks and gawwwd alone knows what's in it that I'm breathing in too...My fella says it's to do with the weather that they're coming indoors more. There've definitely been far fewer today, (pouring down, thunder and lightening most of the day.) I've just made a concoction of redwine vinegar and fairly liquid in a cup, covered it with cling film, gave it a good shake to get plenty of bubbles and made some holes in the clingfilm with a pencil ,(after reading said tip on Yahoo answers)

I'll let you know if it works!
