So, to be able to use the dialog facility ...the only thing I can actually access from the GaGa app ...which is how I post on the forum ... I have to upgrade ???

Creating new dialogs requires a premium membership.  Replying to existing ones does not.

But the facility has already disappeared on my app Ted ! I can't even access my old ones

Looks like an issue with the iPhone app. We will investigate.  In meantime, I suggest simply accessing the site via your mobile browser. We have a mobile-optimized version which I actually prefer to the iPhone app.

I'm on the IPad Ted, which I use cos I can magnify the app. I can get in via Safari , but TBH I find it quite tricky due to the small font ... But I guess if I have to , I have to ...

Well, we can make the font larger there if it helps.

I've edited Ted's announcement about videos as users were thinking this meant you couldn't have Youtube clips.

I think you can still post on existing PMs/Dialogs, it's new ones you can't create without being a VIP.

yes I did read it all thanks El Loro... I was talking about the peeps that send Dialogs regularly. .ie new ones..

 

Not only that, if people are daft enough to pay for a service that is free on every free forum version offered out there they will more than likely get charged a minimum exchange rate fee on their cards as well on top of the $25 

 

Just reading the other thread now so not sure if any of that has been mention on there..in particular the FEE on their CARDS if they buy a VIP membership, they need to check what their provider charges for overseas purchases.

 

Google myfree/fast forums.. just one of many that have free use forums with the very basics like editing and PM'ing..

My thoughts exactly.  The forums dead enough, this will result in people not bothering anymore and will not encourage new comers.  Hey ho.
