I have just bought a new camera.

https://www.johnlewis.com/sony...able-screen/p3077303

Hoping to take pictures with a bit more clarity now.

At that price I should hope so

Yes, it is a bit steep, but supposedly a very good camera. Anyway, you can both be the judge when I take pics on my week off.

I look forward to seeing them

Open windows and the ceiling fan on, and I'm still roasting.

I Wish we had a storm or two. I would not mind if I did not have to sleep.

I am walking around in my birthday suit just to keep cool - TMI

What this guy needs is staff that 'buy into' his vision for the hotel and want to go along, contributing to it's success. I like the idea of relinquishing a small percentage of the business to the employees, give them a small number of shares as well as a wage, they should then be more invested in seeing the business grow and succeed. They are likely to treat the business and each other a lot better, looking to be more efficient, more effective in their roles and always have an eye on the bottom line, the better the business does, the better they do.

The owner will be happier, hopefully have more turnover  and less turnover of staff.

Mr Y has an alternative plan:

Show them what to do and tell them the standards you expect - and if they fail to deliver, boot them out the door.

Oh that looks better

Much better.

Where has the other partner gone?

I thought it was his partner ...as in husband ...I don't think he works there

Oh right, I thought they were partners in both senses of the word.

I might be wrong , but he doesn't seem involved

No, I think you're right

Well that is the other alternative.
