Still can't post animations from Chrome, posting a picture takes ages, the collapse box doesn't come up immediately and then you have to repost it.

I'm not sure I understand what's happening for you. Can you give me an example of an animation you are trying to post, and tell me how you are trying to post a picture?

Lori

Hi Lori. I'm not having as many problems. Just the posting images (not doable in here. I have to go to IE) and the double spacing for me which makes it awful when we quote posts as we feel we need to because you lose the conversation.

I've just tried to post an image....Google images (robin redbreast) and right click and copied it. I right clicked and pasted it into this reply box and hit post reply. I get a quick look at the image then it disappears and I get the message.....You are not allowed to upload files.  Windows 8.1 and Chrome on a laptop, but I know others are on Windows 7

We could copy and paste any animation from google into the reply box,  this doesn't work now. but works perfectly in IE

Hi, Ros: There is no going back, I'm afraid...

I use a laptop/desktop regularly, and don't see any issue, but I suppose it's a mix between personal preference and personal setup (the way your computer is set up compared to mine, I mean).

We are constantly working on Hoop.la and implementing new features/suggestions/changes, so I hope we can get to something that is easier for all of you!

thanks for the reply

Dame, I notice that with your first giraffe picture it is included as an attachment so is coming from your saved picture on your computer but with the second one which is animated as a picture direct from the web. I don't use Chrome but I'm wondering why it has been done as an attachment rather than the direct web to add reply box. I think that's why it's not animated.

Because on chrome we are getting collapse attachment box and it includes it in the post, that doesn't happen in IE, it just automatically pastes. I'm using windows 7.

I'm not attaching it, the post box is El

Dame, that must be caused by you being a VIP as otherwise it couldn't get attached. Chrome, being cloud based, must be treating the picture you copied as if it was stored on your device. Rather than pasting the picture direct in the Add Reply box, are you able to use the insert/edit image icon and paste the image address in the Source box in Chrome? If you are able to then that might get an animated picture rather than a still.

I've tried that El Loro and that doesn't work either , it never happened before the update
