Mine are still there baz, try closing the app and reopening maybe? I love this forum, and the members but I am against paying. If I can still post here I'll be happy, I can live without editing but I do like posting pics. I'll be very sad indeed if the dialogs close I completely oppose that idea, if we have to pay for them I'll just e mail my friends,Facebook them or just join whatever free forum everyone else joins

On a lighter note- I wonder how many people will block me because they hate my christmas threads

well I assume that if you are a paying member then you'll get PM's & stuff on the app (huge assumption), if so the answer to that question would be, because you are now on a basic free membership package, and that's the what you get on that tariff.

I can't even get the app to load, so I can't see anything, but it sounds like everyone else is still seeing their dialogs on the app, so it must be something specific to your setup. Let me see if I can figure out something.

If we can keep posting in existing dialogs I'll be happy

Ok, I feel stupid...but I haven't accessed the app for months, because I had to delete it for a stupid loading error. 

 

How do you get to your dialogs on the app, normally?

Mine says "Your Profile" and "Hoop.la", but no "Dialogs". 

 

Jen, I wonder if this is a version problem. I JUST downloaded it, and am on Version 1.4.2. What version are you on? 

And Baz, what version are you on? (It's listed on the Hoop.la page).

I don't know Lori ... But all my updates are done , so I presume it's the most recent one .

I think it might be a version problem, but I'm waiting to hear back from someone who can access their dialogs on the app.

 

Also, to be clear, you SHOULD be able to access your dialogs. This is not a permission that we took away from you--it's some kind of bug, and we'll get it figured out (I assume).

Just wanna say, Lori you're fab and we're not mad with you even if we are disliking the changes

If you hit the hoopla option in the more tab it will say what version in small text under the hoopla logo

I think it would be presumptuous of us all to expect the people who do this site to do all that work and give up their time for nothing.

While we get this sorted, why don't you use your phone, but without the app? The browser is mobile-friendly, and it should work for the time being?

I don't really use the PM's so I'm not bothered about not being able to access them.

 

No offence but the VIP badge is a bit too 'ohh look I've got more power than you' for my liking but then again if everyone has one I'm going to want one

I'm finding I'm on here less and less these days, and when I am, it's to post the odd daft pic or music clip, and to send the odd PM . Was a bit of a surprise to see the "consider VIP membership" bit when I arrived tonight.
