I love the POW escape ones - the real schoolboy humour of them winding up the Germans really makes me laugh.

I like Will Smith in the Bagger Vance film.
Two other films I can always watch when they are on are Tremors and con Air

I watched The Mist last night and i really enjoyed it,it was a really, creepy, foreboding film.
The ending really shocked me and stayed with me for ages afterwards,it was different to the ending in the story by Stephen King, although i did prefer the book ending to the film.

Bit late now, but there was a very good, if rather disurbing, film on BBC last night: 'Mississipi Burning'.

I love that film Avalon, even though it makes me seethe.
Like To Kill a Mockingbird and A Time to Kill - great films that make me sad and angry at the same time

There is a very good film on tomorrow night 14/07/09 on BBC1 at 11.25pm.
London to Brighton, it's very raw. I watched it a few weeks ago on DVD. Google it for the synopsis.

Hi, Veggie. Agree with you over those films. That bit in 'To Kill a Mockingbird' where Atticus is leaving the courtroom after losing the case and everyone in the gallery stands up in respect to him, it has me in tears every time.
Thanks everyone.
