Oooh! We did ring them and an engineer was booked for this morning then hubby got a text from them saying there was a problem and it would be fixed in 8 hours which put it middle of the night and all fired up well & good this morning!

Aww sunnie. Frowner That happened to me 10 days ago, I was without mine for 5 days, and I really missed you lot. It was a dead modem, and they had to send me another. Took them long enough!

Morning Sunnie! I was wondering where you were!!

My Eircom broadband was very dicky yesterday too! so was in and out...

This cloud place is of no interest to me, I like this format it is instant and the other place looks more like a facebook kinda set up... please say I am wrong and there is a place like this over there?? I want to be able to continue chatting with all my new friends!!

Awww Jen, I know, it's the intermittant trying to get on with no luck that frustrates me, from 9 yesterday til we rang at 5ish. (Bet no-one missed me either Wink) We are both here now though Thumbs Up

Mollie, I think there will be a forum, and I don't think you have to make use of all the other bells and whistles. Don't think I'll be using them, but I shall give the forum a go once we have to move over there.

hmm, I put my router on this morning, and it was still off Frowner Hopefully it will be sorted tonight!

Saz if you go on their website it lists all the areas suffering outages...if you're not one of them then its you so you need to get them out.


I have to say i find Virgin good....we've had it years and i can only think of about 3 times its gone off.

I have Virgin, and it's generally very good, although it went down for a few hours last week.
Not their fault, a lorry demolished one of the cable boxes on a tight corner.

If you have a Virgin phone as well...ring them on 151 and they'll tell you if they have any problems

BTW, they've just upgraded my broadband to 10 whatevers, for free.

I will give them it's the first problem we have had and I was pleased with the phone call this morning. Hubby said 151 was free too which makes a change we used to pay god knows what to ring Tiscali and it was always playing up.
