Once I've heard that track Cosmo it's on my brain for days, just can't stop singing it
I can quite understand that! My parents were into The Beatles (and the Stones and Beach Boys big time). I can remember playing 'With The Beatles' album over and over and OVER again. I went and bought the CD recently - it's still a good album.......and I felt like a kid. My Dad used to sing this one - a lot. At me.

Love your Beatles choice up there, Monkey.

Wow! Great Chaka stuff Cosmo..thankyou!
There`s a track from Chaka, I can`t find. "Please pardon me" It was the first song I ever heard her sing. Came home after a gig with my jazz band. They were all much older than me and taught me a lot.The drummer gave me a tape. I sat by the firelight and listened to it again and again..and cried. I`ll never forget that song. I wish I could find it.
Velvet..! I lurrrrrrrrrrrrrrve Georgie Fame singing that. Thank you!

Interesting fact about Creep Karma.
Thom Yorke went to Exeter University. He wrote Creep in the toilets of the campus bar - the Lemon Tree - known locally as the Lemmy.

Really? I find it fascinating how people write songs as good as this, what they hear when they're writing, if they hear the whole production or just the basic tune of the song.

Speaking for myself I hear everything in my head when I'm writing a song. Guitar, bass, drums, everything. Usually a vocal melody and words are written later.Creep is indeed a phenomenal song by an amazing band. Shame they went all 'arty' after three seminal albums. For arty see 'up their own arses beyond the call of duty'.
