They don't write anything these days. They manufacture them. Churned out in a factory stylee. Thank the Lord for the Spice Girls, Take That and Boyzone. Not an ounce of talent if you put them all together in a room and dared them to write a song. Never mind, at least we've got Jedward Reference:

Reminds me when my grandad played it for me, and this one when i was about 7 He put it on a tape recorder and made me sing it
I was almost tempted to post Burl Ives' Big Rock Candy Mountain..........
I don't care what anyone says, this song is lovely

Since we're getting all mellow, I love this song.
Both
McCartney: I have a love-hate relationship with him. He's great 'live' and when he wants to he writes beautifully melodic stuff (see above ).
Then he goes and s*ds it all up with stuff like 'Say, say, say' and the Frog Chorus.
It's like a bad nursery rhyme.
I'm hitting my pit. Night all

That's what music does to you. I keep thinking 'omg that song' when people post on this thread Reference:
McCartney
A genius with the Beatles, not too bad with Wings, a right annoying prick solo. I saw that Hope and Deliverance bullshit on Top of the Pops and called the BBC to complain!
My favourite Paul McCartney track ever!

The man's a f*cking living legend. It broke my heart to see him on the X Factor doing a really awful version of Live And Let Die which he was too old to sing. Yes, he's done some awful stuff solo and some amazing stuff too. If he dies before me I'll be heartbroken. The last living songwriting legend imo.

His first Solo album which Every night is taken from is brilliant..Reference:

How clear is the vid of him then I used to love Penny lane, and Elenor Rigby.
Blimey, that brings back memories, Mull of Kintyre, my dance teacher played that for a solid term, i swear she didn't own another record at the time .
And the Beatle who is largely over looked..Legend has it that George went round to Eric Clapton's gaff, borrowed his guitar, went for a walk and wrote this! Enjoy!
Another goody - there are so many!
Senora that is probably my favourite Beatle song. And as it happens George was my fave Beatle ..........I never overlooked him.
Another classic Soozy. Not enough space here to list all the Beatles classics. Often copied never equalled has never applied so much to any band as to them.

Indeed......................they weren't known as the Fab Four for nothing. It's only when you look back you realise hoe good they were.Reference:

Oh I do love a Freudian typo
Cried buckets when they played this when he passed away..
My last offering this evening. Night night
Can anyone clear this up? I love this song and youtubed it and always thought it was something McCartney wrote with Wings but see several Beatles references. Did he write this before or after The Beatles split up? Brilliant song anyway...
