Brayden was born by emergency cesaerian at 11 minutes past 4 this afternoon.
He had been playing somersaults with the cord and had it wrapped round his neck, round his arm and it also had a knot in it.The knot was stopping him from getting oxygen which is the reason for the emergency.
Happily, he is well and his mam (my daughter) is doing well.
I was in theatre with her and got to cut the last bit of cord.
We had a really scarey time, to be honest, I thought we had lost him, but thank God, everything is now going well.
He weighs 6lbs 14 and a halfozs
and is 56 cm long.
Blonde hair and blue eyes and is the love of my life!
Hubby brought his brother and 2 of his sisters to see him, his other sister is only a year old so she didn't come to the hospital.
I'm waffling now...sorry, I'm excited, relieved, happy and so so tired.
