Thank you all for your heartwarming response, I do appreciate it more than I can say.

I gave up alcohol many years ago but I must say I've never been more tempted to jump off the wagon, I know there are no answers at the bottom of a bottle but there is numbness and I must say that is pretty alluring at this time.

Thank you all again.

I had Diazepam prescribed some time ago and had saved for a rainy day, well it's a rainy day so just taken two, lousy 2mg, still waiting for some effect.

Anyone know what is an okay (safe) dosage for these ?

Please dont take anymore, taking over the prescribed dose is not a good idea...just wish we could help you, we've all been there I promise Hug

I honestly don't know but would urge you to err on the side of caution. Perhaps you could ring a NHS hotline or something?

There's loads of threads to play around in - why not try a few of them until you feel more relaxed? Hug
