Sorry to hear your news - don't know what to say
Hope it's only for the one night.
just out of interest.... what do the prosecution hope to gain from this?... cos surely even if MrArwen had seen anything, all they have done is drag a hostile witness who is hardly gonna bend over backwards to be of service, to the stand.
I don't get it ?
I don't get it ?
Gawd knows ditty. He thought he was doing the right thing but if he ever see's anything in future I'm sorry to say he will be walking on by
ahhh... yeah, I learned the hard way (agreed to be witness to a car prang... ended up having the other car driver ringing us up giving us grief)....
Its not right Arwen... I feel all cross for you both. xxx

Awh sorry to hear this, they will probs just give him a telling off in court tomorrow. He should also be told that if he didnt want the danger they will provide a box so that the defendant cannot see him and he wont be asked to confirm any details (my old housemate had to go through all of this last year). Although it was my understanding that if called as a witness you had to have already agreed to go to court, so if your hubby said he wouldn't then he really shouldnt have been court ordered.
anyways

Arwen, I haven't been at the computer so I missed this.
I dunno what else to say everyone has been so lovely and tried to cheer you up.
Have anothet hug though and plese try not to worry too much.

Angelic, remember to give him a big hug when he gets home - not a slap. He may have done the wrong thing but he was just trying to protect his family. Try to get some rest tonight and not worry too much.
The whole thing is ridonkulous. The police officer in charge of the case told Mr A that his evidence contributed nothing to the case
Have they said when he can come home yet?
Nope. He is to go in front of the judge tomorrow morning to explain himself The woman on the phone says she is 99% sure he will get out tomorrow but I'm not getting my hopes up with our luck he will still be there
Aww, angelica!
Hope it all turns out OK.
He'll be fine, and at least they won't be playing Basshunter over and over again.

I'm sure they'll let him home tomorrow Arwen. Maybe you should try and get some rest, there's nothing you can do until tomorrow now anyway.

Hey Arwen Hope you are ok this morning and managed to get some sleep last night
Hiya angelica, I hope things get sorted out today
Hope all is ok. Keep us posted.
Mum and stepdad bringing him home now. Apparently was awful. He was the only person in amongst a sea of criminals who was handcuffed. Mum said he was shaking like a leaf. Has to attend court in March. Lawyer said cell was terrible and he hadn't been treated well. I am absolutely livid. I am going to try and sort out a complaint.
Sorry if this sounds curt and not like my usual self but I'm so angry.

Oh and forgot to say , apparently the guy who was in the cell nearest the door had anthrax and all the police were wearing masks and they made Mr A walk past his cell with nothing. And they took his jumper away because it had a zip

a zip
I am going to spend all day trying to work out how a zip can be made into something more dangerous now!
I suspect they thought he would try to burrow his way through the ten inches of concrete
with a zip!
Thats a bit Count of Monte Cristo.... how long were they expecting to hang on to him ffs!

Oh Arwen
That absolutely stinks, make as much noise complaining as you can. I'd start screaming about Elf and Safety over the anthrax thing for starters

Angelic, I'm glad you've got your hubby back with you.
Arwen, that's shocking. Your poor hubby should absolutely not have been treated like that. Make sure you do kick up a stink. Make sure you give him plenty of tlc when he gets home.
