I think it’s good that more people seem to be aware of the problem and are trying to reduce the plastic stuff they use

   Like I used to put bananas in plastic bags and now I use a nylon or a hessian shopping bag. Other stuff too where I don't need a bag. Just small things but if we all did it.........

 

Also everything that can be recycled, I do 

I do the same, I use hessian and cloth bags and we recycle everything possible. Hubby takes a thermos mug with him now and gets Costas/Starbucks etc to put his coffee in that, instead of using plastic cups.

I won't even have a plastic straw in my drink now, on the very very odd occasion I go out 

I wouldn't be putting my hand down there.....congers and stuff like that
