HOOCHIE Liter Life is almost the same as the one i'm doing, Cambridge Diet.
Liter Life has a better quality and variety of food (so i'm told) but it cost more.
Me mate, Neil, was on this plan and has lost 7.5stone in 5months and looks/feels great!!

Well done to your neice

I agree  - it may not be the healthiest way to lose weight AND i agree there is a lot of psychological stuff involved about weight and food but ...
For me i know this is needed and is right

YOGI - thank you hun - i will let you know

DAY 27
Can't believe its been a month tomoz !!
Its been easy - odd - memorable ... and more - but mainly much easier than i ever expected. Drinking 4 pints of liquid has proved impossible - i just can't do it !!

So i decided that this is a long term thing and wud not interupt my life too much so ...
I went out for a meal on Friday with friends - i ate garlic mushrooms, onion rings, potato skins and scampi. I thought  ... why not? I aint the end of the world.
And y'know wot ....
i didn't enjoy any of it - could not finish more than two thirds - and kept thinking "I can take or leave this".
All really rather bizarre feelings i aint had before.

In a way i was happy - i hope this is a signal that my body is re-educating itself to have a more sensible approach towards food. Cos normally i wud eat eerything in sight and being full wud not stop me (which i believe is much  more unhealthy than my new "take it or leave it" feelings).

So it seems my re-introduction to food - which wil occur in 2 months time - IS NOT going to be the "back to my old ways" thing i was dreading.

I plan to increase my exercise whilst reintroducing foods in a slow, sensible pace.

I get weigh tomoz - wish me luck - but i know i will not have lost any due to my Friday feast - we will see . . .

Renton, glad you're doing well, but, note of caution: above sounds to me a bit like when you have given up smoking and decide that you've cracked it, so having just one won't matter.... so you light one, it tastes DISGUSTING, you don't want it so put it it out...then before you know it you're fully back on the fags again!
From what you chose to order it sounds to me that you were craving something,(fat?) then, because your body had got unnacustomed to it, you didn't enjoy it and after a little you didn't want anymore.
I don't want to sound negative, I do wish you success with this, but please remember that the hardest thing is not the initial dieting and losing it, it's the keeping it off long term which is much, much more difficult. Most people fail in that, so if you remember that it will hopefully stand you in good stead

DAY 28
Thank you for the support Yogi and Bazille - it really is kind of you
Supercali - i understand your point - i ordered that food only cos its my fave and not cos i was craving anything to be honest - but i take on board fully wot you say. I absolutely agree.

Got weighed - LOST . . . . 4lbs !!!

So in total i have LOST 1 stone 12lbs in 28days   Only 3 stone left to go

Another 4lb! Well done Renton.

I've got a question though, and it's not a nice thought....... if you lose weight so quickly, how can your skin's elasticity keep up with the sudden change? Surely it's better to lose slowly, so the skin can keep up with the shrinkage? If at the end of the 3 months you've lost, say, 3 stone do you get a load of loose skin? Not a nice thought, but something to bear in mind.

well done Renton  Don't worry about treating yourself now and again... I had a massive ribeye steak on Saturday, onions, mushrooms and although weight watchers chips still lost 3 lb which I really didn't want to I must try and stabilize myself properly, I don't wont to lose any more weight.

But surely that's likely to be the same thing
SUPERCALI - there was a restricted menu and as a (mostly) veggie i had little choice. I certainly wasn't craving it but i know wot you mean about "getting the taste back for things". I can only wait n see, i guess hun xxx

Thank for your kind words Supercali, Yogi
Dame Ann - 'not' want to lose any more weight, blimey!! I agree with the odd treat - all things in moderation is true, for the long term.
Jenny I never thought about my skin - the extra weight was gained fairly quickly (well the last 20lbs) in the run up to my diet. i thought "lets go mad and sicken myself" - and i did, Royaly!!
My weight went on all over me body, a lot on my bottom though, ha ha ha!! So i aint expanded hugely in any one area. Noticed no stretch marks.

Brisket thank you very much - i dunno if all this has been the healthiest thing to do but it seems to be working and really has changed my attitude to food - just hope it lasts. I have went into this seriously and with an eye on my health.
I feel so much better - monitored by a nurse, taking a multi viamin and listening to my body.

Two of my five friends have dropped out - so as i sed, it aint for everyone.

Day ummm . . .
Ok - everyone finds their level
I've come to realise that if i am to continue this programme that it has to adjust to my ability. I am not sticking to this rigidly cos if i had, i wud have failed - like other have ... two have dropped out.
It is an extreme diet and i CAN manage with a little adjustment. And i'm happpy with this.
I feel good - losing weight - finding it a doddle (now its been relaxed a tad)
And . . .
I GET WEIGHED TOMOZ - wish me luck
