OHHH I got loads of little bits n bobs from 10 years of being a stage hand/roadie for ten years, 1979/1989

erm like.... holding up a Chris Deburg gig for about 10 mins, cause my job was to retrieve the huge drapes as they dropped off the rail as the curtain openend at the start of the gig,
they fell ON me and I was buried under a HUGE heavy velvet drape, and mr deburg had to restart the opening number cause him n the band were crackin up laughin at me, Blush
loads more, but that one stands out, Big Grin

I know a Walsall FC footballer Smiler, he's from our town too so most peeps know him.

Steve Bull was a Baggie before he was at the Wolves..

Nod, but we all know he is a Wolverhampton Wanderer at heart Wink.

I spent an afternoon in 1989 serving several rounds of lager in my dad's pub to Marty Pellow and Wet Wet Wet. Marty Pellow was very chatty/flirty but got totally pished very fast and was not nearly as twinkly as I'd hoped he'd be.Disappointed Didn't stop me calling all my mates and telling them how gorgeous he was though. I also remember having George Melly come in for his lunch. He was really nice but he stank. Sick
