Good news Katty! ...
*sends bunny love to Rio*
Awww, Katty!
Hope he's OK, poor Rio. Sending hugs and nose-snuffles..
Glad to hear young Jake is doing OK and enjoying life! My own little hammie, Gray, is going for the record. She's just about 3 now and still trundling on..

Oh poor Rio, hope all goes well tomorrow xx
Well I took him down and the vet at the PDSA says there is nothing obviously physically wrong with him,his gut is making the right sounds,so no gut "stasis",his temp is normal,he's not de-hydrated etc,he's just off his grub a bit.Maybe the meds he's had prviously have helped,he's eating his greens and veg, just off the rabbit food and the hay...his weight is ok if anything he's a bit overweight,he weighs 8lbs 2oz..a big boy to carry.I've to go back in a month to get him weighed again, and if he gets worse at any time I've to bring him back down.Oh and the vet "Tranced" him .I've heard of it before, he put him on his back in his arms and gently blew on his face a few times.Totally relaxed de-stressed bunny. He examined his tummy etc,no signs of lumps or impaction in the bowel, his back teeth are also ok,he managed to get the scope right into the back of the mouth.so fingers crossed.

That's good news, Katty.
Thanks all,he's eaten some of his bunny biscuits tonight,so I'll just gently try and get him to eat.The vet said not to "chase" or make him eat as he will associate eating with being stressed a bit..sigh,yes Scatterby he is a big boy! But a gentle lump he never bites or grunts etc...Ahem! unlike the stroppy mare Cleo.
