nearly a millionaire....could mean anything...he could have property worth a few hundred thousand...whatever.

Its not the money that Lisa find threatening its Halfwits education and eccentricity. She could be considered eccentric in her dress and lifestyle but she's stereotypical of a butch lesbian whereas Freddie is much more of an individual/unique.Hes also got her number and she doesnt like that.

I think this comment reveals a lot about Lisa's underlying insecurities. As far as I'm aware Freddie has never deliberately used his background to make people feel inferior so this must be an assumption on Lisa's part. She feels afraid that she will be judged somehow because of her background and this is why she is gunning for Freddie in such a vicious way. If she would just calm down and simply get to know Freddie as an individual I think she'd learn some valuable lessons about people and see that inspite of surface differences we're all human underneath, regardless of money etc.

Absolutely agree Nod

She was trying to prove a point by saying her brother was a millionaire - what point I don't know.

We have no idea how Freddie or anybody else is using their background. We have very little idea about anything. All we are getting is 60mins of edited HLs.

Good post and one I do agree with. None of them have given him a chance. All they have seen is that he is wealthy and talks in a posh voice. They are all bigots.

When you take the adverts out, we're only getting about 45 min H/L Eeker which is not good.

Correct. So makes me wonder what are we missing? They have obviously had conversations about themselves that we have missed out on. I feel like i know none of them any better than when they entered the house.

I agree... We only heard from the housemates that Angel was telling the girls they were fat and a thief Disappointed....Bb showed us nothing... I also heard Cairon and Freddie played chess alot and was really friendly with him, no of those clips made the highlights...

I am finding it more and more frustrating to watch. The other HMs claim Freddie follows them all day saying why? why? why? i think most people would find that annoying. If you listen to the arguments we are shown, little snippets slip out that we have no idea about. I would like to see an argument in its entirety not just edited HLs of it.

When Rodrigo nominated Freddie this week, he said that Freddie talks about money all the time and also keeps saying how rich he is. Rodrigo then went on to say that money isn't everything and he prefers people with a good heart and not into material things. Does anyone remember that? Seems to me the 45 mins H/L shows have been edited to hell and back Mad.

I heard him say that too.

I have to say, though, that I have not heard Freddy go on about his money or saying how rich he is Confused On the contrary he seems to play it down somewhat - unlike Rex last year.

Thereagain, we are only seeing the heavily edited HL show, but Freddy doesn't seem the type to do that imo.

Most of the clips are really random and dont make sense sometimes.... In other BBs, the HLs were so much more better.. Oh well I will take it as a soap opera and will not bother voting.. I cant believe we have 10 more weeks to go Skull

I agree with LL, Freddie has downplayed his wealth... He hasnt done a rex on us... I think the housemates have seen things and heard the way he speaks and are automatically intimidated.... Also we dont really know we only get 45mins of HLs and 6hrs of footage with housemates getting ready to go to bed within the ist 45mins... We dont really know them...

Rex went on about it all the time, didn't he? That would've really wound me up.

I wish they would bring LF back so we can get a true picture of what is really going on, but I feel it is too late now Disappointed

Well Roddy strikes me as a honest person so i think perhaps Freddie as talked more about his money and background than is being shown.

I am sure if I said snow was white and coal was black, you would disagree with me longcat Crazy
No actually i wouldn't. But i am sure if they showed a clip of Freddie shouting from the rooftops "I am as rich as Midas and better than you" you would still say they goaded him Big Grin

Rodrigo was referring to the careers Freddie would like to have when he leaves the house, like becoming an mp and making a cd, suggesting that Freddie is only there to earn money.
He never said that Freddie keeps talking about how rich he is.

He has made his own mind up that Freddie is materialistic and is using the show to further his lifestyle.

Considering Freddie is from a rich background, I don`t think anything could be further from the truth.
He has said he wants to become an mp so that he can make changes to society. He loves music, so he wants to sing. His intentions are good. It`s nothing to do with money.

Rodrigo is narrowminded and osbstinate in his thinking.
He may also have a touch of the green eyed monster.

Rex went on about it and that was shown in the HLs... I think the housemates have been brainwashed by Lisa.. Freddie seems a humble person who isnt aware of his wealth... For some reason, he reminds me of David Cameron Laugh

No, I wouldn't. I have said many times that I can see Freddy has faults (like we all do) and I have also said that he needs to be careful with his gameplan. Nod

Most housemates us BB to get a career anyway... Rodrigo apparently was an extra in Hollyoaks so that means he wants acting roles after the show... Although I doubt he would be any good Laugh.... Kris paid girls to sell stories of his supposed sex-god status... Karly and Dogface want to be glamour models Laugh... They all seem more desperate to me...

I think at the end of the day we will never know what is really going on, we will only ever see what BB chooses to show us. And as much as i find Freddy annoying i also find the others equally so.

Exactly, they`re all there for a reason. although I don`t think Freddie is one of the desperados.
His career will not be stripping off for magazines Laugh or falling out of China White`s with a big boobed blonde or an open shirted tanned hunk, hoping to snapped by that paparazzi. Laugh
