And now another week of silence
She's gotta reputation for giving mixed messages and that caused our argument
I ahve apologised and i won't anymore

I'm not gonna chase her - i have too much self respect

That obvious to you aswell. I think she has self esteem issues as her husband walked out on her and her baby. Hopefully her pride will kick in soon. I hate seeing her like this

I find its worse than that. Blokes pretend they really like you, give you all the go ahead signals. Woman feels close and is lured into a false sense of security. Then he stops txting as much. Then stops answering his calls. Then if you call switches off his phone. Leaving the woman in a bit of a mess. A few days later gets in touch as if nothings ever happened. But us women are as much to blame. We let them do it again and again and again. Not me.

Well i am a big believer in - pepople wil treat you the way you let them . . . so i suppose some do go back for more of the same

Wot you have just described is a little - just a little wot i'm going through with my frend - though i don't fancy her

I guess so but also be aware if she is using you for what ever this may of just been an attempt to reasure you so that she is still able to get from you what she wants.

Sorry, a very poor attempt at humour..

Well sed Kelly cos i beleive she 'needs' me inside work for reassurance and comfort but don't need me outside work

Though she has asked to visit me and we have gone out shopping before - but no more thna her other 'work' frends

So i am aware of her potentially using me
My frend who knows her sed - why not just accept her as a work frend and anythong else is a bonus

She could be using you as an ego boost too Renton. All this attention shes getting off you even if it is just as friends can be very flattering. Plus you have already mentioned she has a history of this kind of thing.

my situation - i have to accept this frendship for how it is i guess - i love the flattery so much - she is a demon flirt and i love it
i guess i shouldn't expect much more - perhaps it will come in time that our frendship means more to her

Y'see we used to speak almost every day - but i have had intense frendships like this before that have fizzled as soon as we parted as work colleages

i suppose it works both ways

Erm.... ok then. Let me tell you about mine.
I left work on Friday, went shopping. Got home about 5. Made some tea, jumped in the bath and started getting ready for work. Went to work at 8:45pm. Was followed around all night by my peeeeeervy stalker man. Got home at 4:00am watched a documentry for an hour then went to bed. Woke up about 10:00am and decided to clean my flat. Ran out of cleaning stuff so heading into town. Got home did more cleaning then went for an hours nap. Sophie came round. We watched telly and chatted while i got ready for work. I headed to work at 9:35. Peeeervy stalker was not there. Finished at about 4:30. Watched scrap heap challange then went to bed. Woke up at 10:00am but stayed in bed. Difted in and out of sleep all day then got up watched a bit of telly then headed back to bed again at 10:00pm

right here's mine..... Friday settled down with wine and tea Steak new tatties and salad, got up SAT mornin took boss bowling, brother came round fetched Austin sat and watched 7 pounds with kids SAT avo, cooked tea another bottle of wine spoke to mom and dad who's away they ok up by you in yorkshire Dales. Sunday woke up made a homemade chicken and veg broth and cooked sunday lunch, helped Alice with her homework then settled down to watch apprentice and BB, not got no money so not doin much lately

I am hun it the kids they keep you going, but my weekend used to be so much more I miss them, we used to go out a lot more I will get my life back did you not see Lee at all?
