I've never actually met him. My sister and I were estranged for 10 years until we got back in touch this year. She's a single mum and he's supposedly a little nightmare

Well then, for all the right reasons, I think it's not really a bad thing that you haven't met him so far with you being pregnant and him being unwell. Lovely to hear that you are now back in contact with your sister though

I got a phone call from my son last night who's holidaying in Majorca with the 'lads'. He had to have the doctor out who diagnosed Swine Flu and confined him to his room. He sounded terrible as it's exacerbated his asthma - I just feel so helpless

Theres been a few cases of this where i work, although heck knows how they can diagnose it without a blood test.Would be terrible if the oldies where i work got it.

Thank you Cagney and everyone. Yes, he's well covered thankfully. I've just spoken to one of his friends and the doctor has called in to see him a couple of times FOC. The hotel staff have been great too. His breathing is much better now (apparently the aircon didn't help) and he's sleeping at the moment. My husband is just looking at flights in case we need to get out there but after speaking to his friend, I'm sure we won't need to.
