...starkers... one hand covering his bits.... the other hand closed and in the air, shouting....

...."don't look, nothing to see here... I just have to put a spider outside"...

I was like -------> Disappointed

Then hubby started singing "Spiderman, spiderman..."

Then we both leaned to look through into the garden where son is bent over obviously releasing spider... (I sat back pretty quick sharpish)!

Then he came back through... covering his modesty with the "Does Anything Eat Wasps" book.

Do things like this happen in your homes... or are my lot weird?

When my son (yes the same one) was younger - I hasten to add he wouldn't do it now - I used to use the clippers on his hair, and he hated the cut hair on his clothes so much that he insisted on having his haircut naked!! He too hid his bits with his hands, until he got a bit older and then it would be an old t-shirt!! Hands not big enough by then lolol!!

Mine used to do that! Hahaha Laugh

Though now he's one of them floppy haired kids so he wouldn't let the clippers anywhere near him.

I used to worry about his development, but thankfully, that turned out to be unfounded as I have two strapping grandsons now. Big Grin

Laugh The moment I married Mr Ditty (5 yrs ago)... I made an agreement with him that he would deal with the boy stuff with the boy... in return daughter and I would not talk about girl stuff in front of them.

(apart from when my son came out of daughters room wearing some laydees items on his feet.... asking why she got the special foot plasters! Disappointed )

Its a quite recent development.... the "don't look at me" thing.

He is on "leg hair watch" at the moment.... he inspects his legs everyday.... willing them to get hairy!!!! Disappointed

I really don't understand boys as well as girls!

My eldest is constantly looking for 'willy hair'..he's 11 and can't wait. My youngest is 6 and is also on the lookout for willy hair...he'll be heartbroken when his brother beats him to it!!!!

My sons very proud of his 'fur'!!!

When he was in year six he had the obligatory sex talk. When the children came out I asked them what they had learned. One little boy put up his hand and said' Miss,I have learned when I get older I will have furry tentacles' Laugh

It still makes me laugh Blush

Shake Head Still happens in mine too, and my lot are older!! The other day my son (18) came out of his room shouting "Dont look", ran to the washing machine in just his boxers, with a bag of washing, and then put the boxers in too. He ran back past me, same as yours, covering up, scolding one of the cats who was just ambling along right in front of him, tripping him up! Big Grin Then, one of my daughters, (16)comes in the front rom, NOT saying "dont look" in her bra and knickers and sits legs akimbo, watching tv, whilst applying her godforsaken fake tan, that stinks and leaves marks everywhere!!!!! Mad I have to keep reminding her her brother is sitting there, if he is in, but she just goes, "oh, well, its only Chris, he aint bothered!"!!! Shake Head

haha!! same as mine moomin, when he was about 11/12 he would sit in the kitchen whilst I used the clippers on him, with just a towel over his bits and one of my girls would ALWAYS come in and he'd be like "Mum, tell them to go out"!! Then, when Id finished he'd make me go out, whilst he shook all the hair off him, and wrapped the towel over his bits, before running to have a bath! Laugh

Whilst shopping in London on many occasion when my twins were about 2 or 3.... I would be browsing the isles looking for clothes etc....forward facing double buggy in front of me glued to my hands....

Only to look at them and find they were both butt nekkid...even their shoes and socks off...swinging their legs laughing at each other!! This happened so many times!!

I had to go around the shop picking everything up they'd dumped! Getting filthy looks from disapproving people! Hopefully baby L won't go through this stage! Disappointed Big Grin
