There is a programme called Mutiny starting on Monday at 9 . It's a group of contestants tracing the journey made by Captain Bligh after the Mutiny ....looks like a sort of wet version of Bear Grylls the Island

So opens this endurance challenge-cum-history lesson of a series, where nine men attempt to find their own inner metal by re-creating the hardships of a legendary event from more than two centuries ago, the Mutiny on the Bounty.
Back in 1789, Captain Bligh and his inner circle were cast adrift in a rowing boat with a week’s worth of food by mutineers on their ship, eventually travelling 3,500 miles over the ocean and bringing their attackers to justice.
But can a modern crew with equivalent backgrounds (sailor, carpenter, doctor) manage just as well – or will their own in-fighting lead to a second clash on the high seas?
Summary
Nine men recreate a voyage by William Bligh in 1789, when he and his loyal crewmen crossed 4,000 miles of the Pacific Ocean from Tonga to Timor after being cast adrift from HMS Bounty by mutinying seamen and left for dead. SAS: Who Dares Wins chief instructor Anthony Middleton is in charge of a crew of eight made up of sailors and complete novices, attempting the journey in a replica 23ft open wooden boat, with similar equipment and the same rations of food and water that Bligh's men had.
"Mutiny" looks interesting, but I won't be watching it "live" as it's on at the same time as "Broadchurch".
