When I was younger I loved English mustard. Thinking back; pork pies, for instance, would simply not have been the same without it! Lol
I can recall my stepmother introducing me to wholegrain mustard and enjoying that also – and French mustard – which was not quite as potent as English.
About 12 years ago I stopped eating meat and ever since mustard has never seemed as appealing to me at the dinner table – other than to perhaps liven up a minus-meat roast dinner, or similar.
At the weekend while we were shopping in Waitrose I was attracted to this fancy looking traditional Dijon mustard that was being promoted – and decided to buy a jar. Impulse buy or what? Lol
So, do you like mustard, which mustard, and what do you enjoy it with? Also, what the heck does Dijon mustard go well with?
