Tonight on BBC4 is a concert of songs written by the late Nick Drake, one of the finest musicians the UK has ever seen. He lived a tragically short life, but his music will live on for ever. The concert is performed by several artists including the wonderful Vashti Bunyan who has a hauntingly beautiful voice. See this BBC article for more information.

It is followed by a repeat of a documentary on Nick Drake.

Once again BBC4 comes to the rescue when other channels fail.
I have just watched the brass section of the Young Musician of the Year. Some very talented young musicians.
Now the Nick Drake material.

I prefer it to the other music channels and their 'Greatest Ever' this or that..and Top Selling whatevers....Ever being the last 20 years...and apparently the top sellers ever have all been in the same time period also!
