I like Muse but they can be a bit samey....Green Day on the other hand....

Yaaay! I find that too Croc. I lovee their music, but sometimes I start singing one songs and finish on another, with no recollection of when I changed

I used to love Green Day....  but they lost it for me!

I still love their earlier stuff...  and Holiday is cool...   but then they get samey & a bit "pop" for my liking

See... to be honest.... the last two Muse albums have not been up to scratch... they too got a bit commercial!

Knights of Cydonia is no no discussion point in our house... Ickle gets very angry about it!

I love their stuff from around the Plug in Baby & Newborn era...   Ickle likes earlier stuff from Showbiz!  (she really is hardcore!)

I discovered them very very late..... only when they released American Idiot. But I went back and caught up. I find it difficult to choose between early or late...... there was quite a change! I probably listen to their early stuff more though. Difficult to choose a fave song, but Sassafras Roots probably edges it for me. I think I feel safe with repitition

I never know the title of albums now we live in the age of downloads ....I'm a bugger for picking and choosing songs and mixing them up.

Green Day... oh god.. so many -    Time of your Life/Good Riddance is on Nimrod innit...  see I love that...

but for the pogoing around the lounge with the kids when they were younger you can't beat so many off Dookie!

I have to say I was chuffed for Green Day when they finally got the recognition... they had been horribly overlooked for a long time!

It gets even more confusing when you are even more lazy & whack the International superhits CD in!

How she arranged for a Charity concert.. and was in discussions with their management!!!  She was only 13!!!     When they started replying to her emails she suddenly realised what she was doing... I walked past her desk and saw her staring at her screen .. white as sheet!    I knew something was up!

She fessed up and begged me to sort it!    She couldn't bare to sort it out herself..  she didn't want Matt think bad of her! (imo he should just be very very cautious of her)...

I had to email them and explain they were talking to a child!

• [MUSE] are better than Greenday (though my lastfm page might disagree)
• Resistance is an excellent album, but their best ever album will always be whichever one I'm listening to at the time
• Croc is right, Nimrod is the better than Dookie (though not better than Insomniac )
