Yep. Thumbs Up

And according to Scots win or lose Murray isn't British.

They obviously need to learn to distinguish the difference between English and British.

What? Confused

Are you just reading my posts or are you following the thread?

Laugh I`ve read the whole thread thanks.

Now, can you explain what you mean? Thumbs Up

I can’t be bothered.

Ah... so (from piddly, meaningless tournaments mainly) Murray's stats showing him have the edge on Fed mean what exactly? Considering Fed just won the French Open... oh and that little thing they call the US Open last year? Ninja

I dont actually think anyones out him on a pedestal ......some have simply aknowledged that he's the best player Britain has had in a long, long time ....they're simply being supportive.

There are some that look beyond how a player looks Roll Eyes. You do come across as rather shallow in who you give your support to TBH.

Oh dear, you really have got it in for me, huh? Big Grin

FYI, I've supported Fed since the first year he entered Wimbledon. I thought he was breathtakingly good. Lo and behold he won the following year.

Forgive me for being so shallow as to support the best tennis player of all time rather than someone just because he's Scottish Laugh Crazy Laugh

Big Grin Gotcha Valentine
Scotty
from Yahoo news:

Federer completely took the sting out of the intimidating serves of the 6-foot-10 Karlovic, who had won 79 of 79 service games through more than 9 hours of play across his first four matches at Wimbledon β€” and 128 of 128 service games if you add in his previous tournament, too.

So wouldn't you know it: Federer needed all of 8 minutes and two Karlovic service games to break the big fella.

Federer hit three return winners, including a forehand off a 122 mph serve on break point, to take a 3-1 lead. That set the tone.

Karlovic, best known for upsetting defending champion Hewitt at Wimbledon in the first round in 2003, was asked why Federer dealt with his serve better than other players do.

"Oh, it is only because he is better than everybody else," Karlovic said. "That's it."

Wawrinka has one of the best backhands you've ever seen? How old are you? Ninja

Murray loses concentration. He did it today too. Wawrinka ISN'T the great player you're making him out to be and there was a gnat's bollock between the two of em.

Of course, the Murray camp blamed this on the fact that the roof affected his game Roll Eyes

i would agree with that Federer as good as he is is no where near as good as he was a few years ago sooner or later he will fall behind the likes of Del potro and Murray seen as they have time on there side .
