theres gonna be a muRRRRRRRRRRRRRRDUR!
I knew a fella, he had his whole flat rigged out with hidden cameras, he'd pick up rent boys or just young men, take them home and have it all filmed..he took 2 back one night and they beat him to death, when the Police searched the flat they found the cameras and tapes and had the suspects and murder all on tape..I still find it hard to feel anything for this mans death, he was a nasty. horrible excuse for a human being, he hated women and had no value for any man/boy he had sex with....

I just remembered a great aunt who was kept in a wardrobe for 15 years and had a son who we think killed people with claw hammers. Forgot about them characters.
Couple of chancers tried to bump me off an' all. Bad thing.

Maybe he couldn't afford 2 off peak returns.
Stalin said..."One death is a tragedy; one million is a statistic."
We can cope with the human element of 1 or 6 or even 100 deaths. More than that we cannot fathom unless you break it down into individual stories....

Thank God for that. I'd hate to think of an innocent wheely bin being offed by some nutter

Less of the wheely-bin love. I was attacked by one once. Any retribution would have been just defence! Bastards,

Aye, that'll be the more knowledgeable person I mentioned.
Don't look so good now.

We do become very desensitised the more we are put through in life..imagine what some of the asylum seekers have seen say from Sierra Leone, then they are put in with people who think a mugging is shocking, they've seen things a 1000 times worse and think that is nothing....We can cope with the human element of 1 or 6 or even 100 deaths. It seems I've lived a sheltered life. I haven't lived next to or known a violent murderer like a lot of the people on this thread. Maybe I should move to Birmingham and live a little. Or somewhere else (for those of you who like Birmingham)
I stood on a worm once.

Move to Brixton, they had over 1200 crimes in December. You'll get all the excitement you want just taking a stroll from Brixton Hill down to the station

Try Bognor. The twats bump you off with DOC authentic weaponry there and insist it's tradition. If you survive that you'll have the oxygen sucked out your lungs by lack of vowels. It's in the brochure.
Ducky has the best Serial Killer claim to fame...

You've hyped it up too much now.

Aww Moonbeams, that's awful.
I feel a bit guilty coming in to spill my claim to fame now. But you'll have to excuse me while I do it anyway .....otherwise I'll be responsible for Ditty exploding with inexplicable excitement.

She makes it sound like I rugby tackled a serial killer to the ground and pounded on 'em till the police got there.
I used to live in the same village as Beverley Allitt ... the nurse who had Munchausen by Proxy and murdered babies in her care. I used to fight with her and her sister all the time. (I think this is the bit that makes me a feathery hero? ) I moved to the village from Hull (yes HULL... beautiful, non-grimy, definitely not the worst place in Britain. ), so I was a bit of an outsider and spent nearly all the two years I was there scrapping with someone or other.
Beverley was the quieter and the nicer of the two......her sister was a bitch.
I fink that's the lot?
The thing that bothers me is how many really evil murderers get to quietly serve their sentences and then come out again, because their cases don't have as high a profile as others.
About 10 years ago, I saw a case in the papers that was so awful, I cried while reading about it. A bloke (wish I could remember his name, the bastard) had beaten his little stepson to death with a pool cue, because the little lad was still running about and playing in his pyjamas after he'd been told to go to bed.
The court case heard there were imprints from the cue all over this poor little lad's body. And his mother and other adults in the house left him to die in a corner after the beating.
Evil, just pure evil. Being sent into a hostile country as cannon fodder and told to shoot or be shot doesn't compare, in my opinion.

Yes Birmingham is so violent and aggressive compared to London isn't it? Because London (where you're allegedly from,) has never had any crime or stabbings or murders or gang warfare or bombings or anything has it? Quiet as the Orkneys it is...
