The name is Farley Hatpin. Actor, director, and comic genius, thats me. I've b'een a star of the silver screen ever since I could crawl and twirl a candy cane at the same time. My mother & father were circus performers - that's where I got my comic timing from. Best of all, they taught me how to dangle precariously from a ladder. That one skill set me up for life!

Well now how VERY nice to meet you Mr Hatpin  a director you say?

Of a sorts. I am about to follow up my amazing screen performances with a brilliant film direction first.

That sounds so interesting *playfully taps Farley on the arm* You really must tell me more sometime, I'd love to hear all about it

That would be my pleasure dear (with a bit of luck). We will have to get together sometime when this dreadful matter has been explained to us.. I hope someone IS steering this bally ship!

My dear I'm saddened to hear about your late Husband, did I mention that I own an island in the gulf and sadly am also single at the minute.

How sad about your husband he wasn't shot accidentally perchance my dear was he?

Of course he wasn't, you melodramatic fool. He was, to put it delicately, more advanced in years than I. It's so very sad to see the man you love diminished so, in the end it was almost a relief when he went. Such a good man, me beloved Xavier, he left me very comfortably off, he always wanted me to have the very best. I shall try to honour his wishes by making the most of the generous gift he gave me.

Forgive my presumptuousness dear. It was just that it sounded like an absolutely delicious plot for a film.

An Island in the Stream Gulf, you say? How lovely. Maybe you will permit me to visit one day?

Darling, any film you made about Xavier and myself would be a romantic blockbuster. Such love has rarely been seen and I would not want it cheapened by this industry of yours.

I'm guessing that film would be as long as my book! Looking at how quick you are to move on
