Just thought I'd add for horror fans the Romero 'Of The Dead' films are all classics, the early ones though, not the remakes. Ditto the Hellraiser films and the Saw films. Also Village Of The Damned, the original black and white version. Those kids were damned spooky.

I just watched The Killer Inside Me. I can't say it's a bad film, it's a very good one but I'll never watch it again. In fact, if you don't want to see disturbingly realistic violence towards women I strongly suggest you give it a swerve. I don't know why they felt they had to show scenes like that to get their point across.

Oh yeah, how could I forget Escape To Victory. The best war/football film ever made. It might have been the only war/football film though, I dunno. But it really is a must watch if you haven't seen it.

Speaking of Comedy: The Jerk, Life of Brian, Spinal Tap, if none of those make you laugh you just don't have any giggle genes and really ought to start all over again 

I have not seen spinal tap but I did see the other 2 and I did not think them funny so clearly I do not have giggle genes

Life of Brian was brill!  'he's not coming out, he's  been a bad boy..Now! Eff off!'..or words to that effect!....and the ending when  they are nailed to the cross..Heehee!

He's NOT the messiah, he's a very naughty boy . Absolute classic, as is Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

I KNOW I sound like an old fuddy duddy and I am so sorry but I just hated the whole concept of crucifixion being ridiculed,
It was a truly barbaric way to die and people could literally take days.
So I just did not find the film funny.

The holy grail scene where the knight wants to fight till all he could do was bite kneecaps!


Even the clip clip clopping of coconuts!!

Terms of endearment... a very sad but good film.

Great film, as was The Warriors. I don't know why Quadrophenia made me think of The Warriors. Pure tribalism I suppose.

I have a recurring nightmare about Warriors, I have no idea why, it isn't even bloody scary!

I don't get sentimental with films but, that film broke my heart to such a point that I don't think I could watch it a second time..ever!
