I'll offer a few. Shutter Island, Changeling and Zulu (yes I know it's old).

What's it about velvet?

Shady salesmen selling land plots, someone nicks the prime sales leads, they're all under suspicion, well acted/shot and great moody soundtrack

A David Mamet film with Lemmon, Pacino, Harris, Baldwin, Arkin.

One of the best films I have ever seen was 'A matter of life and death' which is a very old David Niven film.

Oh and then there was "Green for Danger" - made in about 1940 - fantastic suspense film - murder mystery sort of thing.

Tuesday night we watched Ghost. A Polanski film Mit Ewan McGregor, Pierce Brosnan, and that English one out of Sex in the City. Mrs Joe thought it a most wonderful and original film. I didn't. Which one of us was correct? I know that it received wonderful reviews in Berlin mind.

I'll throw a few more into the mix. Escape To Victory, Fragile (the Anthony Hopkins one not the crap horror film) and 12 Angry Men (old black and white classic).

Shawshank definitely, I haven't seen Sea of Love what's it about? If you like Al Pacino Simone is a brilliant film, unmissable really along with The Devil's Advocate.

Wonderful Life and Pulp Fiction, two truly fantastic films

. Kill Bill I and 2 also, in fact most of Tarantino's stuff.

Ive been moaning lately that i havent seen a good film in absolutely ages, have they stopped making them

Last film i saw that i loved was slumdog millionaire and that was years ago!!! All time favorite films include Moulin Rouge, ohh i love that

and Amelee.
