I did a bit of research and I'm not all that sure I've ever seen him! I saw Hawkwind many times in the early seventies right up to the Space Ritual tour but remain convinced he joined afterwards. However I have all of his gramophone records with both bands. Those times were exciting and he was a part of it all.
