My attention has been drawn to an article in saterder's Grauniad financial section. Apparently Morrisons had a bad time of it over the festive times and need to attract the floating shopper and have thus signed up the pisspoor duo. Never mind the floaters they'll lose the loyal family customers such as ourselves.
I'm not sure how Morrisons expect to attract decent hard working families using a pair who gave their name to a pornographic photography style.

The old ones are the best!

Our Morrison's is just on the doorstep - very convenient, very good, staff all lovely. Can't believe they were 'down' at Christmas I've shopped there for years and never, ever seen it even half as busy as it was this Christmas. (Perhaps it was full of pick pockets)

I'm not a particularly 'loyal' shopper though - I do Marks in the week - Aldi every couple of weeks, Sainsbury's online when I can't be arsed and often get toiletries, soap powder stuff from Wilkos or Bodycare if there's a good offer on.

Ant n Dec wouldn't make any difference to where I shop TBH.

Help me out Cinds!!!

Ant and  Dec is a North East expression, first made popular by VIZ magazine, a term for the modern style female part viewed from a particular direction.

videlicet: That's enough chest pictures Katie, now bend over and we'll get some Ant and Dec shots.

Ant and Dec: A bald c*** and a little a***hole.

If I may put it so as not to offend.

In light of that maybe they would be more suited fronting an ad campaign for C&A

I would not start shopping somewhere if Ant & Dec were part of the stores promotion. But I would stop shopping somewhere if the store began to use Ant & Dec in their promotions. Yep, I dislike them that much...

I do from time to time shop in Morrisons which to be fair is a very good store, I'm not loyal to any one store I shop where the nearest supermarket is to me at the time of needing food, so I use Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsbury's and occasionally M&S, mainly Tesco's and Sainsbury's.

Enthusiastic Contrafibularities

My nearest Morrisons is about 20 miles away ... but I do take my mum there sometimes for a bit of a day out!!

I love their cafe, the food is dead cheap, I love their cheap fruit and veg, love their flowers and plants, and always take a cool box so that I can stock up on the frozen stuff that isn't in my local supermarket.

I can't imagine being influenced by celebrities endorsing products or organisations ... I'm more likely to be swayed by price or customer service.

Oh, and I love Ant and Dec

Same here, I wouldn't start or stop shopping somewhere just cos of who was advertising it... even if I didn't like them, it's not like I'm going to bump into Ant and Dec at my local Morrisons, or Delia and Heston in Waitrose
