I think some of you may be missing the light-hearted aspects of Mario's remarks.
Much of it is teasing.
I think the humour is being missed.
I still like Mario. One of the most self-aware housemates.

If it's teasing, how come he never says it to any of the women's faces? It's always behind their backs, while he's cuddling with Ben and Dave.

Mario started off so well, but since seems to be a wheedling, bitchy pain...the stuff with Ben and the apple was ridiculous, he is actively trying to find fault so he can just moan a bit more.

Well we don't get to see everything of course. But I have heard him do this sort of ragging to Ify. It may be no more than coincidence that we have seen it more when he's with the males. Personally I have seen very little of it, and I feel quite sure it has humourous intent Deman. 

Not convinced, especially since he always drops these little pearls of wisdom in the most sneery, snide way.

I just believe it is light-hearted.
I have also felt (throughout every BB series over the years) that many of take the whole thing more seriously than the housemates themselves.
It's probably pointless to go roung in circles Deman.
You think Mario is being unpleasant, and I believe he is being humourous.

He's not volunteering to go up against Titan because the twit believes that it is a real robot,and he wants be in the final team that takes on Titan(Mario wants to play it at chess).The Japanese have real a  robot that walks like a human etc It cost squillions.Titan is just a large toy..

I've seen very few little tantrums from Mario actually.
I suspect if there was a chart for hissy fits, Mario would be near the bottom and there are quite a number of contenders for 1st place.
