Try not to stress yourself PrawnCracker. you've learned from a good manager... I'm sure you've picked up lots  The fact you care this much is a great sign in a young employee.

We have a new starter - she feels overwhelmed - its natural.

And don't be afraid to ask for help, you're new and everyone will understand.

As for the audit - there is an art in looking busy and being scarce.

One worker shirker i know is very good at 'hiding'

Chicken .......I know you're worried but .................this is all part of working life. The things you mention happen in all jobs at different times.You've not made a mistake it could and does happen everywhere unfortunately.

I realise that it's not easy for you but I'm gonna say it anyway ......do try to stop worrying. There are things in life we simply cannot change and we have to live with it. If you do seriously just try to chill out a bit you may find life easier and more enjoyable.

I know it's easier said than done but ...good luck.

On my very first driving lesson - we started from my house, got to the main road and i mounted the pavement and stopped the traffic.
