Add to that: 'Dad's Army'..There'll never be a better Manwaring than Arthur Lowe.
Watching it now....still makes me giggle
Arthur Lowe in Oh Lucky Man
You won't see that on telly again. Sometimes you've gotta lighten up but JK has been "cancelled".
Cancelled feck. Take me back to the Oxford Dictionary in 2000. It's bollocks.

RIGHTIO gas engineers based in Birmingham are obviously brokers for local tradesmen.
How much to check a broken boiler switch?
"We charge ÂĢ130 p/h"
Told him i wouldn't pay half that

I have British Gas insurance RentonâĶitâs a bit expensive , but they do an annual service , and tbh just one call out usually makes it worthwhile .

I wouldn't pay that either Saint ..
Maybe try someone local if you can.
It's ridiculous to charge ÂĢ40-100 p/h - i'ts nothing but theft
We are often asked to take out insurance on items like washing machines at ÂĢ70 a year but our washer is 10yrs old and still going with zero repairs so it wouldn't pay to insure it. That would be ÂĢ700 in insurance for a ÂĢ300 machine - we could have bought two more for the cost of the insurance

It is nothing short of theft...you're right.
There are 'How to' videos on You Tube if you feel confident enough to check the boiler yourself.
Obviously be careful if you do

Not with electricals
However I did take me wing mirror to Toyota Newcastle who wanted to charge me ÂĢ300 for a full unit replacement so I Googled and repaired it with a ÂĢ5 tube of sealant - as new!!

Why on earth are Guide dogs for the blind researching impact injuries from scooters at 15mph?
Isn't that a Gov responsibility? If i gave ÂĢÂĢÂĢ to Guide Dogs and it was spent on scooter safety research I would be livid

Hmmm - it might be the only way the dog can get enough distance and the owner can keep up?
The right-wing media getting all shirty about something they really shouldn't. The removal of a tribute to Edward Colston, the mass-murdering slave trader.
Laughable.
Once again BBC reporting on how hard a children's nursery is struggling under COVID
Not a single word from a frontline nurse about how many people have died during her shift

Texting fencing companies for quotes - one guy said they didn't use 'panel' fences like we need so told him someone was offering to do the job and I was just looking for another quote to see if the first quote was competitive. He told me if someone had agreed to do the fence I shouldn't be ringing around for other quotes!!
Never knew getting a fence built was a moral issue!!

Was woken this morning by banging sounds - someone putting up a fence in the garden opposite at 8:22am
And then - our neighbour started cutting his grass (the second time this year) at 9am!!
No respect
