This is not raising awareness - it's cheapening a problem for real suffers

Agree. They don't know mental health. Give them a bout of psychosis and then talk. Royal hijacking dickheads. I'm sick of them.

What's going on with Tomasz Shaffenacker
Ever since the lock down he's been subdued to the point of morose.
Barely able to crack a smile and looks rather dishevelled.
Defo a noticeable change
Mind you he's a hell of a good artist
Waterfall cardigans! What is the point of a cardigan that you can't button-up or close in some fashion. I know there are times when people WANT the cardigan open, but what do you do if it suddenly gets chilly/windy etc.?
Like Saint, I will probably have to Google "waterfall cardigan". Never heard of one before.

Destiny's Child sang,
"The shoes on my feet, I've bought it
The clothes I'm wearing, I've bought it
The rock I'm rockin', I've bought it
'Cause I depend on me"
Except you really depended on a lot of people ...
The person who wrote the song, the people who played the instruments, the music studio where it was recorded and mixed, the record label who promote you and the distributor who helped sell the records.
Plus the radio Dj's and record shop assistants, your managers and stylists. The camera operators, the dance choreographer and on and on . . . .
Idiots

Lloyds Banking Group has been fined ÂĢ64m by the financial regulator for its treatment of mortgage customers in difficulty.
The fine relates to a lack of support for mortgage customers in arrears between 2011 and 2015.
The bank knew about some of the problems in 2011 but failed to adequately solve them, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) said.
Some 526,000 customers have received a share of ÂĢ300m in compensation.

Marcus Rashford is now God - replace Nelson from his column.
He's become God by raising lots of other people's money for charity (not forgetting that millions of other people volunteer for charities and dedicate their good time to them)
He tweeted about extending free school meals that me and you are paying for - saying it's great what 'we can all achieve'.
He probably tweeted this whilst sitting on the leather seats of his new Ferrari California
Food Banks this time - do they really work?
No
How do i know - well . . . .
My aunt has been identified as 'vulnerable' and therefore 'in need'.
She has medical conditions that can limit her ability to shop for essentials.
However they failed to notice that she has a car and a mobility scooter
And a daughter who has a car and a son who has a car and two grand sons who can drive. And a daughter in law . . .
And owns her own house and was left ÂĢ40,000 by her late husband.
She took the food!!!! Ruddy leach

Last I heard you were caring for your parents that other people were paying taxes for, which I totally agree with by the way. I looked after my Mum and I know it's not easy and carers deserve all the help they can get ...but go right ahead and let children go without dinners.
I am so effing angry people are moaning about free school vouchers for kids, when MP's claim ÂĢ25 a day for lunch and we can pay a million quid for a plane painted in union jack colours. It doesn't matter if he is sitting in a posh car, how do you know what he gives to charity. He's a young lad who spoke about his own personal struggles and with 3 million followers it worked. I say good on him .

Thank goodness I don't live in your head...so your greedy scamming aunt is the reason food banks don't work and everyone else in genuine need should do without because your aunt doesn't have any morals....this is why we are where we are today. I know people who have used food banks, I know people who volunteer in food banks ..try it and then have the same opinion, there again you can stick to reading the daily mail.
@Dame_Ann_Average i think she's utterly wrong to take the food
And the food bank should check more thoroughly - she's refused in the past but they continue to contact her
Sadly some people will take advantage - that's my point

There aint a penny we're taking that wasn't paid in taxes by my parents
And i truly don't mind anyone having a free school meal - i honestly don't
It's everyone getting one in a breakfast club - it's not targeting those in need ... just like my aunt taking food from a food bank
My problem with Rashford is that he's only saying what we all think is right
He raises other people's money for charity - he may well give some of his own
But he does this whilst living in luxury
@Saint posted:My problem with Rashford is that he's only saying what we all think is right

But you don't know how much he gives do you, along with other sports people and stars and celebrities. So what, he's living in luxury, he's worked bloody hard to get there. Read up on him, watch the clips about him and his siblings when his mother was struggling to bring them all up. Oh, and for the record. I agree with Damesy on her points
At the risk of getting jumped on from a great height ....I donât think Renton was saying that there shouldnât be food banks and free school meals ...at least I hope he wasnât . I think the point he was trying to make ....and in this I agree with him....is that services should be reserved for those in the most need . No one can argue that there arenât people who abuse the system ....a system that is stretched almost beyond itâs limits ....which in turn means that often those who need it most are left out As one of those classed vulnerable by the powers that be I was given a phone number for assistance with things like shopping , or medications ....Iâve never used it cos I can get by on my own . As for Rashford he did a good thing , but should he really get more praise ( and press coverage) than the thousands and thousands of other, not so privileged , people who have gone above and beyond what was expected of them in this crisis ....not in my book he shouldnât .
@Baz this is exactly what i mean
My aunt so wrong to take that food but the food bank keep offering so i wonder how well the food is offered to the correct people. Same for breakfast clubs - anyone can go - it should be for those in need not for those in need to off load their kids so they can go to work.
So many people give their lives to charitable causes, Rashford is canonised for a few tweets while he spends hideous amounts on cars he doesn't need. This hero worship for minimal input (in comparison) is annoying
