A guy who lives at the end of our street thought it would be a good idea to bring his car into the street, along to the end where he could turn around so tomorrow morning he would be pointing in the right direction to drive away.
Only he got stuck right outside our house.
He came back three times to try and free it - but nothing would work
Now he's stuck and 100m from his house and he's not going to work tomorrow.
The odd thing is they also have a huge 4x4 that they chose not to use to tow their own car. Hmmmm
I've just eaten a burrito - it was a "fire roasted vegetable" and tasted like cardboard!!
THIS and all these other nonsense descriptions are totally misleading - trying to suggest they're something other than they are - fake food alert!!!
'Balsamic' vinegar and 'sea' salt crisps = salt n vinegar
'Country' vegetable soup = veg soup
Hog roast rolls = pork sausage rolls
"The food is over there"
"Oh i'm vegetarian"
"There's cheese at the end of the table"
Every time

ANT ARRESTED !!!!
I know
very upsetting for everyone
BBC sent North East camera crews to report on Darling Town vs Marske, where ever that is and shot footage of a game no one turned up to see.
How is this news for the masses or even relevant to literally anyone except the teams involved?
SUNDERLAND Council has spent ÂĢ5million on a 3 day event
The huge amount has been spent attracting the Tall Ships to the area
When asked how they could justify such a huge amount the first reason given was,
"It will promote the area"
And there you have it - from a council who says they don't have enough money to sweep the streets.

No excuse for drinking and driving.
He seems to be in a downward spiral. I hope he gets the help he needs to sort himself out.
LIBRARY DONATIONS!!
Yep our local library is literally begging for cash from the people who already pay to keep it open ... so that it doesn't close
Meanwhile Gateshead is funding temporary "arts installations" down by the Tyne.
Don't expect them to sweep the streets though

Victoria French - events organiser has just said,
This event will help put Sunderland on the map"
No it won't
It's all about showing off - not investing in people

Iâd rather pay for the library to stay open than some arty farty installations

But we already do !!
I really don't have any time for professional Geordie dickhead, Ant McPartlin.
He could easily afford to employ a full time chauffeur or book taxis so there's no reason for him to get into a car and drive drunk.
To be candid, I drink far more than I should but I've never driven drunk and always got taxis when under the influence. I have no time for very rich celebrities who can easily afford chauffeurs and pay for taxis driving drunk.
He's a selfish wanker. He could have killed those people he crashed into. I hope it destroys his career. The piece of selfish shit
People talking to me when i'm trying to talk to someone on the phone
And they can see I'm on the phone!!!
I can't have two conversations !!!!!!!
Our road has drive ways
We all have garages
So why does everyone park their car on the road!!!???
AND there's no need to park across from our house so I can't get my car out

It gets worse @Carnelian - look at this from 2002 . . .

"Tyneside TV presenter Ant McPartlin has been banned from driving after being clocked at 127mph by an unmarked police car."

Dear God Charlotte Crosby has her own show on MTV
On it she answers those searching questions we've all been asking from what's her favourite name and vital info, such as, she has a strong 'bum hole' - yes that's not a typo - to her 'death anxieties', ruddy moron!!
We really 'are' doomed

Mind you - haven't we got something virtually the same
Yes - trams and buses and trains

I understand the motivation but find the approach insensitive and a little scary for an unaware passer-by
Especially after 9/11
Watching the news - why do I bother?
There simply can not be a crisis or a controversy every single day
Day after day
it's impossible
Go back 25yrs and watch the news - it'll be the same
"Crisis - controversy"
We're making this stuff up to make the day and ourselves seem more vital and relevant. Definitely fake news
Twitter. It's evil.

Charlotte Crosby pearls of wisdom,
"People are always worried about what they look like. Or what people think. I think they should just forget about it."
Says Charlotte sporting hair extensions, full make up and a rather severe nose job

A conversation I had a few years ago with a Soc Services Manager,
Did you work with X last night?
Yes
Where did you get her number from?
The Care Pool List
Was she ok?
Yeah she was nice.
Don't use her anymore
Why?
The girls in the other workplaces don't like her
. . . . . . . and thereby ended the Soc Services career of a lovely (and capable) young lady because some jealous b*tches in another place didn't like the fact that she might be thinner or prettier than they were.
Nice one Soc Services - abusing their position once again.
Interestingly Velvy I was chatting to my union rep about 4yrs ago and let me quote,
"If your employer really wants you out there's little we can do"
Nice

Well, it does not help that I don't find them funny, but (I do confess to seeing just one episode) They have gone down the usual 2000's habit of having a celebrity panel as well, why, god knows. It already feel tired. It's not hard to think up something new.
All those idiots who apparently gave Ant a round of applause during the last episode of their show. What about the poor sods who he nearly wiped out ???
