*waits for Sainty or Lori too interject*

It's when your company is in the US (or the UK, as the case may be) but your support staff are in India.

Ta muchly Lori

Sainty must be on a slow day today

I was putting the Lottery on so I can live in Oxford with holiday homes in Florence and California with regular visits to Japan. With Range Rove and Bentley Continental.

Anyhoo outsaucing means going outside to buy sauce

Pretty self explanatory Moon Man

Monty Don encouraging a woman to grow a raggedy-assed veg patch in her front garden, like its a food bank.

Only issue is the main veg is chard ... yep CHARD

That's going to go down a storm on the scruffy council estate.

Fish finger and chard tossed salad.

It's rubbish if we're honest - the 'community' all came out to see .... Monty Don and the cameras, not the messy garden that looks like an inner city farm.

Well . . .I loves the guy too

But i don't always agree with his gardening

Would you have a veg patch in your front garden

No wonder the commentator said the rest of the estate were yet to be brave enough to do the same.

She meant 'silly' enough.

Not unless there was a war and I was digging for victory

It would be very boring.........

I guess it all depends on what you call “second rate”

So you prefer jaunty chat and hopeless football

Or just a great game?

I prefer a good match with excitement and some decent comment after but sadly you don’t a lot of either lately.......

Football has become very negative nowadays. The ball seems to go back more than forward and if you can’t get the ball get the player. It’s not the game I know and loved but I still watch because you do get the odd good match...

How things we did in the past are being passed off as the 'new way forward'.

This cup is fully recyclable

Well glass milk bottles were being 'recycled' decades ago

Pop bottles were returned to the lorry for 2p - so 'incentive recycling' has been around just as long.

All products are locally sourced from local growers

Our village greengrocer gets their stuff from the farmer up the road as long as I've been alive - so this 'claim of progress' is jjust reverting back to what people used to do before the war.

Spot on, Sainty, and women used to carry baskets to put the groceries in, no plastic carrier bags in those days.

Another American school shooting

EIGHTEEN this year - what is wrong in America?

Not all the people are crazy, lone shooters AND it is reported the student knew the person who carried out the shooting would do so sooner or later.

So why wasn't anything done to stop him?

Apparently there have been 30 "mass shootings" (4 or more fatalities) in total so far in the States this year.

Total firearm deaths so far this year: 1806

Of those, children & teenagers: 400

There do indeed appear to be some valid questions about why no one picked up on him: I was just watching one of the pupils on C4 news ask why a person who wasn't registered at the school was able to just walk onto the campus...

A wider question is ... why shouldn't someone be able to walk around the campus? Without needing to be vetted and checked.

Perhaps yes to entering a building - but walking around campus?

It's a sad reflection that trust has gone

"Mr Cruz, who had links with a white supremacist group, reportedly commented on YouTube last year that he would be a "professional school shooter."

A user alerted authorities to the post.

Teachers were also warned about Mr Cruz, who was not allowed on campus with a backpack, US media report.

The FBI said it had investigated the YouTube comment but had been unable to fully identify the person who posted it."
