A few nukes would soon change all of that. As it wouldn't stop at a few.

Sprouty seems to think we're interested in Uranus

I think she has a point tbf

Of course there is a concern

But I think we're panicking for no reason

Look back 10yrs compared to today - the changes are commendable - and we need to continue

Wrong!   I've already said we're all killing the earth. It needs to stop now!

10 years!   waaaaaaay too long!

The last thing we will do is destroy ourselves

And the frightening thing is...... you really believe that

You really think we will totally destroy ourselves? And the planet to the point it's uninhabitable?

Well the crap they're throwing up into the air and the crap peeps are detonating underground can't be helping can it

New YSL fragrance description,

"Introducing the new Y perfume for men by Yves Saint Laurent.

An authentic fragrance expression capturing the essence of modern men.

Y by Yves Saint Laurent is not the story of one man but of a whole generation: a creative generation of men who dare to follow their passions and carve their own paths. From inspiration, through hard work and collaboration, to self-accomplishment and success.

Everything starts with a why."

DFS offering up their Autumn/Winter sofa collection.

Now!  I will happily stand corrected, but I don't know anyone who has a sofa for each season.

true

However I know two people who have summer and winter accessories, oh yes.

They change the curtains and cushions according to the season

And thinking about it ... I like that idea - totally changing the ambience of a room - just like the seasons change.

I could have been an interior designer - if I could have been bothered

My mam used to clean the house from top to bottom....and I mean deep clean and change the curtains and stuff before a decoration or tinsel went up at Christmas (the week before)

I used to support a disabled bloke who had very little money.

He was forever rearranging his room.

Now I wonder if he was trying to create a new theme/look to his room without having to pay for it?

And he was quite successful - his room always seemed to look different

Peeps can get bored with the same old thing you know. Maybe that's what was in his head

I think it was more out of quelling his jealousy as the guy next to him was quite rich and always buying new things

Tis odd you notice such wording EC

Just the other day I was perusing our 'buildings at risk' register and holding back tears of rage and heartbreak at the wanton vandalism towards some of our wonderful buildings.

I know if I ever won a lot of money this is how I would spend it - saving our heritage. It's one of the few things I really care about.
